I'm a tactile person who loves good conversation, nice wine, decent music, plenty of hugs.....looking for some good company and some fun. If you like growing old disgracefully, drinking too much wine, if you'd rather visit someone because you like them rather than because they drive a flashy car or have a big house, if you hate snobbery, if you enjoy clothes which are comfortable and would rather spend on books, CDs and wine, then I might be someone you'd get on with. My Ideal Person I was asked recently what I look for in a lady, and I came up with the following:

Someone with a brain

Someone with whom I can laugh

Someone with compassion

Someone unpretentious

Someone who will take the pee out of me and can stand me doing it to them

Someone that doesn’t take themselves too seriously

Someone who is comfortable with who they are and the shape they’re in

Someone who values kissing and cuddling as much as making love

Someone who will tell me when something’s wrong – we men don’t always pick up the signals

Someone with opinions that they’re prepared to express, even if we differ

Someone who is aware of the world around them, has some knowledge of what is going on in the world, and holds opinions

Someone who can appear in public in jeans and an old shirt without half a ton of makeup – whatever they look like

Someone who enjoys watching a silly DVD or listening to music and chatting, with wine and cuddles of course!

Someone who may be watching what they eat, but doesn’t have a massive guilt trip every time they go for a meal or get offered something calorific

Someone who is aware that they may be in a fortunate position and that there are others not as lucky

Someone who may have done or currently still does volunteer to help a charity in some way

Someone who might just have a bit too much to drink sometimes
