Can friends be more than friends or should it remain as just friends?
I am referring to someone of the opposite sex (in my case, a female)
If there is a mutual attraction there, should it not be pursued?
Or would that possibly "damage" the friendship?

Ah, I remember ...
I had this female friend who would show up early (but not too early) on a Saturday morning in the wintertime
I would buzz her into my apartment block, unlock my front door, then crawl back under the warm covers and await her arrival
She would let herself in, close and lock the front door, strip out of her clothes and then crawl under the covers with me
