It happened when I was about 30. I was alone in this bar in Northwest DC. There was karaoke going and I was standing near the corner just taking it all in.
I could tell that this older Latino guy was checking me out. He wasn't really my type so I tried not to make eye contact. Even so, he walked up behind me and started talking. I was trying not to give him any body language clues that I was interested so most of the conversation happened sort of backwards sideways.
The whole thing was an excercise in trying to be polite without really encouraging the conversation.
Him: Why hello.
Me: Hi
Him: How are you this evening?
Me: Fine
Him: You are very handsome.
Me: Thanks
Him: I can tell, you are a Capricorn.
Me: What?
Him: I said, I can tell you are a Capricorn.
Me: No...Taurus
Him: No, Really?
Me: ...Yes
Him: Do you know what that means?
Me: No
Him: It means, you need to be touched.
At this point, he leaned over and bit me on the shoulder. Seriously, he bit me in the middle of the bar. I'm generally a smart-ass of the first degree and have a pretty decent comeback for everything but my wits were lost.
Me: Uh....I have no response to that.
And then I left the bar, got in my car and went home, laughing all the way.

Strange encounter...

So I realized I haven't posted one of these in years, but that there were a bunch of views and comments I'd never read With that in mind, I figured I'd share a couple more stores.
This happened about 5-6 years ago. There was this guy I'd met once before and he was gorgeous (tall, tan, fit and hairy -- I don't have a type, but that's pretty close). He dropped me a line and asked whether I'd be interested in a mmm scene with lots of massage oils and body contact. He had a condo for sale and we'll set up there in the empty place (another turn-on).

Then the brought out the plastic rain tarps to protect the carpet from the oil and proceeded to duck tape it down on the floor (literally the whole room). Any onlooker would imagine we were preparing for a mob hit.
The host brought out a bunch of cocoa butter scented oil and we each (separately for some reason) stripped naked and slathered our entire bodies in oil.
Then the three of us came together, all slippery for a series of wet hugs and some minor jerking. It was actually pretty hot, but oiled up bodies make a weird popping sound pulling away.
And then they both came 30 seconds later. The entire encounter lasted maybe 5 minutes
It took 10 minutes to get all the plastic on the floor.
Then the three of us took turns hitting the shower. Before my turn, I sat on the plastic wrap, jerked myself finished and stared out the window at the snow.
Nobody else was particularly interested in taking a break and trying again. I did feel obligated to hang out and help get all the plastic wrap up.
It wasn't exactly awful, just a little underwhelming. It's the danger in folding yourself into someone else's fantasy when you're not really into it.
Well, at least I wasn't snowed in.

Do I have too much furniture

Okay, here's the situation. I'm trying to sell my townhouse so that I can buy this really cool single-family home. It's taking forever in this market (by the way, if you wanna buy a townhouse in reston, let me know.)
Since, it's a townhouse, it is gonna sell easier if it's vacant. It looks bigger. In the interim, I'm crashing with family and I've got my stuff in storage. It makes meeting people a little challenging if they're not living alone.
Recently, I met a guy online who had roommates so he couldn't host. I was really into him, so I said we could meet up at my place. I figured, there's no furniture, but we could spread a blanket or something and make do. Not the best solution, but it works.
Here's the thing. It was REALLY freakin hot. There was something about being in an empty vacant house that just really rang my bell as we were rolling around on the floor. Now, I'm half tempted to keep a room completely empty after this just for such an occaision.
Part of it may be me. I was sixteen when I lost my virginity to a woman. We kept driving around town at 2am looking for a place to do it. We finally found this apartment complex that was under construction. The first floors were pretty much done (even carpet) so we just snuck in a window and went at it there.
I really do hope none of the real estate agents try to show the house while I'm "busy".

I'm a nerd. I admit it, a big comic book nerd. I've been so excited all week cause me and 4-5 buddies from high school are headed up to Philly for the weekened to take in the WizardWorld Comic Convention. They're all straight so it's not gonna be "that kind" of weekend, but it should still be fun. We're even gonna take in X3 while we're up there.
Wooh. Got that off my chest. It's funny. It seems so much easier to tell people I'm gay than that I still read comic books (I do read other stuff too.) Luckily, I don't look like the Comic Book Store guy on the Simpsons so I guess that means that "I can pass."
BTW- If you're in Philly and wanna hang out this weekend, drop me a line.

Don't get me wrong. I am fully supportive of those who are questioning their sexuality (or even just want to try it out once.) I also support someone's right to be on the downlow. That being said, here's a list of things you have to check when looking at a profile to see if someone might be gay or bi.
1) They're "looking for" men (easy).
2) They're labeled as gay or bisexual in their Sexual Orientation information listing (also easy).
3) You're a guy and you match their cupid settings for gender (big green check mark).
4) They also have a alternative id on Outpersonals.com. I ran across one today that said straight in sexual preference, but an outpersonals id was listed.
5) The mention being bi in their screenname or profile even if it isn't listed that way as their sexual preference.
6) They're listed as a member of a gay or bi group list even if it isn't listed that way as their sexual preference.
7) They say they're bi as the intro line for a straight or local group list. (You get another intro line just for that group.)
 They've posted or replied to a gay/ bi message thread in one of those groups.
9)They mention something about it in their blog (like this one.)
10) They're listed as straight, but they have one or more guys listed in their friends network list. (I'm sure there are guys who actually put their nonsexual friends on this, but it has to be rare.)
See, it's a lot of effort to be bi.

So I was looking at profiles and I came across one of a guy I met up with a couple years ago- nice enough guy, we met up a two or three times.
Now, the question is...."When does bi-curious turn into plain old bi?" I mean, how many times do you have to be with someone of the same gender before it takes? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to box anyone into the "gay" or "bisexual" bracket, but it just hit me as funny.
Now, maybe they're worried that labeling themselves as bisexual would hurt there chances with certain women....but then again, the kind of women it would bother probably won't make the distinction.
Anyway...just a random thought. I always thought the term "heteroflexible" was more fun anyway.

While I'm on the subject, going to school again has led to some weird experiences. Don't get me wrong, it's been great. Now, every couple weeks my age comes up in conversation. I always get the "Wow, I thought you were 27-28." God, I love that. I've never been the BEST looking guy, but so far I'm aging well.
Then again, I was having lunch with two classmates the other week and they started talking about a tv show that they grew up with as . I never even heard of it.....Then I realized that during my freshmen year of undergrad, they were in fourth grade. I needed a beer after that one. Oh yeah, I'm old.

So, I'm in grad school right now. I'm just a touch older than the average and it's been great. Now, that I'm getting ready to finish up I've noticed something weird.
For most of my adult life I've been attracted to guys mostly 5-10 years older-- not exclusively, but that's the way my head turned. A lot of the guys in my classes are early to mid-twenties. After spending most every day in class with them (and there are some real hotties in there), I'm suddenly starting to check out the twentisomethings a lot more than i did before school. And not just at school, but everywhere.
It's no great revelation, but it's weird when your preferences change and you can tie it to a specific event. Believe me, I'm still open to all reasonable offers, but now I'm looking in new directions. It makes me wonder if my age preferences will change again once I'm back in the work world.

Okay, so my last post was a little boring. Here's a story- it happened about a year ago. I had a major crush on this one guy (Tall, handsome, hairy- a little on the small side, but its all good). We had hooked up once and it was great. He then asked me if I was interested in a threesome. I said sure--- I'm not normally into the group thing, call me old fashioned but I like them one at a time.
So then, he explained that what he and the other guy really liked was getting all oiled up and rubbing up against each other. Seemed a little odd, but I like to think of myself as sexually experimental.
So I went to meet the two of them at a vacant apartment- the cute one was just about to move. It was snowing, so the other two were late arriving. I looked a little weird waiting outside and empty apartment in the snow, but that's neither here nor there. The second gentleman arrived first. He wasn't really my type, but he wasn't ugly either. So then the two of us awkwardly chatting outside an empty apartment.
Finally my cute friend arrived. We went inside and I started to strip down as they began to duct tape plastic sheeting on the floor (so as not to ruin the carpet). At the time, I began thinking how this was a little like preparing for a maffia hit on the Sopranos. After about 10 minutes of their taping down plastic sheeting and 5 minutes of our individually oiling ourselves up in cocunut scented tanning oil (in the middle of a snowstorm), we got to work.
All oiled up the hot guy lay down on the plastic sheeting. The not-so-hot guy lay down on top of him and started jerking him. So it seemed pretty hot. I moved in and lay down on on the two of them thrusting in on the guy on top....who came right then....15 seconds total. He got up and started watching me and the other guy. Being left alone with the hottie wasn't a bad turn of events. Then he came....10 seconds later...leaving the total event time of about 45 seconds total. So here I was, semi-hard, covered in coconut oil and laying on plastic sheeting in an empty apartment.
I did jerk off and catch a shower, but I still smelled like coconuts while I drove home in the snow. They asked me to meet them again the next day, but I respectfully declined.

So, I figured if I'm paying for this service I should make the most of it. Today I went through, deleted a whole bunch of old mail from my account and deleted a bunch of old entries from my network (not in a mean way- just people who haven't been on in a year.)
Kinda torn at the moment. I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking more about a serious relationship, but it just seems like I can't meet the right people in the VERY limited amount of time I have as a student. I guess things will get better this summer after I get out of law school. SO, in the meantime, I'm still on the lookout for some fun stressfree m4m play.
