Degrees of bisexuality?
You know, there are lots of us who question our bisexalityand if we’re really bi, gay, or just horny.
I was just out in the hot tub thinking about my experiencesand thought of this way to help determine or feelings.
Think about how you’re different with men and women/
1)Flirting…, I love to flirt, always have. If I find a woman even remotely attractive I just have to flirt. But I’ve never flirted with a man and wouldn’t know how.
2)Kissing…, I love to kiss. I think kissing is the first step past flirting. And, when that peck on the cheek becomes a touching of lips…, well now! OK, prefer kissing women.
3)Breasts…, I simply love breasts and nipples. Now I do prefer the breasts small but the longer the nipples the better! interested in playing with mine ladies 
4)Oral sex…, When giving, I have to admit that as much as I enjoy
5)Rimming…, I love rimming a woman and have only rimmed two men. I prefer women.
6)Fucking…, I so prefer fucking women.

I don't think that it is all that difficult to define bisexuality. It is simply the attraction to both sexes. KISS principle approach might help.
Beyond that in definition, it is being more specific about the varieties of bisexuality and refining the basis of "attraction".
Each bisexual knows that they are attracted to both (usually in a sexual manner). The degree of attraction may vary. Whether they act on that attraction and how is merely an application of their bisexuality.
Transitioning is a term that I've read gays refer to themselves when at one point that they thought that they were bisexual. Determining whether you are transitioning or a bisexual may get caught up in some political implication. It shouldn't matter except to the person. (ya bis can get a bad from the transitioning gays though) Again, it is all just detail and refining of the basic 'attraction' concept.
Don't worry: be happy! kind of philosophy might help (not that people may not struggle with acceptance but that is another topic)
