Recent 7 month long research reveals 132 malware-laden typosquat variants plague adult hookup site, half arranged by only four villains.
That's about the same number that hound the most popular banks!!!!!
FYI.
A "typosquat" is a domain name created to "look" similar to an actual domain name, but relies on the user mis-typing the correct name, or replacing visually similar letters ... such as 1 for l (small L ) or I (cap i).
Another typosquat is the "fat finger" syndrome, where the keys adjacent to the one intended is hit, and entered inadvertently; like k vs j or L.
A third type is trnasposed letters ...as in "freind finedr".
When typed incorrectly, a typosquatter directs you to the true site, but downloads malware, trojans, worms, viruses and key-stroke loggers to your computer, in the process.
So, a word to the wise...always use BOTH hands to at least get into VisionPersonals.com!
