There's a Blogger Bash planned for San Diego, Ca in July of this year; from the 10-13 (officially). As you may have guessed, there's literally tons of stuff to do in San Diego, especially in July!
Among some of the more popular attractions is going on a Whale Watch!
Take heart, you landlubbers, for you needn't go very far off shore!
You can always get really up close and personal with the whales, if you'd like.
But, there's just something magical about a sunset whale watching cruise!

Lazy days, spent laying with you
under the warm summer sun,
gently rocking together in our hammock.
Moonlit evenings, spent laying with you,
Under a star filled sky,
gently rocking together in our hammock.
Warm, relaxing bath, spent laying with you,
scented oils, candlelight, soft music,
gently rocking together in our hammock!
But then, if we are feeling funky and playful,
we can gently rock in our hammocks!

I don't know if any of you are aware it, but I've firmly believed that I've had a Wood Faerie take up residence outside my abode.
Well, I woke up really early this morning to catch the sunrise, and ... Lo, and Behold! There she was!
I managed to snap a quick pic as she scurried off into the shrubs, to hide for the day, pretending like she was just a part of the bushes!

I opened a book, and discovered beauty so rare,
where multi hued colors swirled with flare,
Revealing a graceful elegance beyond compare.
As delicate sweet fragrances filled the air,
Fond thoughts of someone precious were brought to bear.
It was her roses, pressed in the pages, that I had found there!
Yes, I admit, it's true what they claim.
For this special someone, and a rose,

The West Coast Blogger Bash is officially on.
When: July 10-13, 2014
Where: San Diego, CA
Hosts: mynameiskay, 1sexygoodguy and myself missingu2012!
Why: Why the hell not?
(Please see the fine print at the bottom of the post. You know there is always fine print…)
We’ve already had our first meeting and come up with a tentative itinerary. We are quite pleased with ourselves if you must know. There are group activities planned as well as coordinated activities for those that want to take this opportunity to see the many things there are to do here. Come to one activity or come to them all, it’s up to you. We are very easy-going and friendly here.
But you are not going to want to miss our Signature Event on Friday evening. Nope… not saying what it is  … my lips are sealed.  MyNameIsKay threatened to break something if I say anything before the group is set. 
If you are interested in attending, please send me an e-mail through the site. If you are a standard member, then please leave a message in my private mailbox above. You will receive further instructions at that time. The details for this event are not on A*FF as we are making our best effort to protect everyone’s privacy. The event itinerary will only be given out to those actually attending.
Like 1sexygoodguy, I'll be posting photos of Sunny San Diego, and some of the many activities available from time to time, so ... watch this spot!!!

The piano from the scene in the movie where they sing "Great Balls of Fire" still graces the interior! I, ahem, "understand" that there is now quite a collection of ladies bras hanging around there ... memorabilia from Tom Cruise fans, I guess!

It was one of those scorching days, when the air was hot and heavy, yet so very still. They left their little cottage for a walk, to get away from the hustle and bustle of the day for a while.
Down their usual path they walked, down to where the local brook ran. It looked so cool and refreshing, tempting, inviting. She took off her clothes, and leisurely waded in. Finding a bowl shaped rock in the middle of the stream, she laid herself down in it. The water ran over her luxurious body, quickly washing away the cares of the day. The rhythm of the water coursing over her body created its own music. He stood there, entranced at the sight before him. It wasn't long before he undressed and swam out to join her. Soon .....
