The other day I was chatting to a friend, when the house phone rang. I've got to have a landline to access the internet.
Against my better judgement I answered it, only to get that long pause before someone says anything. Straight away I knew it was probably coming from India, I was so annoyed, I told them to fuck off and hung up.
Less than a minute later it rings again, so silly me answers it, only to be asked why I told them to fuck off. Well I let rip, I'm so fed up with these calls.
I did ask what he was trying to sell me, and was told...condoms.
Well that's a new one. Told him I had no need for them, then the shit asked me why, and was I not married.
Told him it was none of his business, a few more swear words and hung up on him again.
I'm going to buy a whistle, maybe when I start deafening a few of them, they'll put me on the do not call register. I am on one here, but it must not work for overseas??

Thought I'd try a new colour in my hair. Found one that was a darkish brown with a hint of red.
My friend who has been dying my hair for quite a few years called round last Sunday, so out came the bowl and brush and she mixed the two concoctions together and on it went.
Beautiful day so we go outside with a nice coffee to pass the time.
Then came the time to wash it out.............OMG I was a red beacon, nothing like the colour on the box at all.
As if that wasn't bad enough.... a few days later I went and had a hair cut when the hairdresser said.............oh no. Somehow my friend hadn't put enough dye on the back and once my hair had been cut, my natural brown was the only colour showing.
Off to the chemist today to buy the usual dye I use, and she's coming round tomorrow to put it in.
There will be No chatting while it goes on so she concentrates and gives me a full coverage.

As well as being on here, I'm also on a vanilla site.
Yesterday I got a contact request on the vanilla site. I recognized the guys photo from also being on here.
I don't know if I should tell him straight off, or wait???

STRESSED the past couple of weeks.
Some nasty stuff has been going on at work, and I only found out today that I still have a job.
So, while I still have a job, it's time I looked for a new one. I'm tired of the petty stuff that's been going on.
Any ideas what I should look for? I need some light relief, so go ahead................... make me smile.

Saw the funny below, and it reminded me of my school days.
I remember two subjects it applied to, Art and English. We'll start with Art.... teacher would show a painting, sometimes it was hard to tell it was a painting, and we would be asked....what do you think the artist was trying to say?
I didn't want to be put on detention, so didn't say..... shit these drugs are good.
Then there was the English class..... we would be read some poetry, and asked.....what do you think the poet was thinking? Don't know about the poet, but I was thinking.... wow you have problems, maybe you should go talk to someone about it.
How the hell does anyone know what they might be thinking? Depends on the type of day they were having, did they get any sex the night before, what they had to pick up from the shops on the way home. It's endless, and these teachers get paid heaps to give their version, then ask us what we thought?
So when I saw this funny, I had to share, how true.
Do any of you have a funny about school you would like to share?

This is my favorite parrot. It's called a Rainbow Lorikeet.
I was sitting out the back of my house, when he flew down quite close to me. I got up slowly and went inside for my camera.
The cheeky thing followed me to almost my back door.
He got quite close and I'm sure if I put my arm out, he would have jumped onto me.
Then came the fun of trying to get back inside. It was on the step heading towards the door, and there was my cat on the other side of the screen door making those silly noises when they see a bird and want to eat it.
With great difficulty, I managed to move cat aside with my foot, and just close the door before the bird hopped inside into the jaws of death.

I saw in one of our local papers, that a charity was asking for beanies to give to the homeless.
I'm not the best knitter, but I can knit beanies.
Here is a photo of four that I've made so far.
While knitting these I read something on the facey page that I thought was very nice.
Someone in Ottawa had made scarves and left them all over the place with a note attached...I am not lost. If you're stuck out in the cold, take this scarf to keep you warm.
How nice.
While still in Canada with nothing to do with the cold, also saw this....

Glad I don't live there. I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face when I gave my post code out.

This is a baby possum who should have been tucked up in a tree fast asleep until it got dark.
Instead, it was walking along my back fence. I held up a flower petal which it took and ate.
They are very cute, but the adults have a horrible growl while chatting, and an even worse one when fighting.
They make a terrible racket every night in my garden.
