While i was driving home from work the other evening, i suddenly became very aware of fellow passengers. Obviously as a driver, it would be very much expected to be aware. I guess it ran a bit different to actually "observing". Thoughts turned to my fellow road sharers.. why did they pick the vehicle? Was it choice or compulsory that they were travelling in their journey at that exact time? Where would their end destination be?
Sometimes, like life i guess, our cars can turn into our own personal bubbles. We are in charge of it, we can control where we go, what we listen to and even the temperature (providing you don't have a passenger to fight with!) We can even decide our passengers (family, friends, even pets!)
The point i am making here, (i think lol) is that everyone is on their own journey, at different stages, looking for a different destination. This can be compared to on here, different people looking for different things. I guess all we can do is keep our lights on. This will guide the people behind, and the people in front can lead us, depending on where you are in your journey and just who that journey is with.

Ok just to entertain me (it has been a very loooong morning with no much sleep!)
What was the last text message you received?
Mine was "phooaw!"
This was sent from my beau, after i was whinging and complaining about winter returning yesterday, being freezing and having to get the winter jammies on. No doubt that my winter jammies (fleecey and nice and snuggly) are not the sexiest attire i own, it did give me a laugh.

are you a "good morning" person?

In short, no i'm not. My sleep pattern can be messed up, i am a light sleeper and the quietest of noises can wake me, at times i could sleep the clock around, but usually i can survive on little sleep.
This morning.. i found myself awake around 4.30 am, was reading few blogs and found this:
"When you awaken in the morning, before you get out of bed, think about your day ahead and visualize positive outcomes and experiences."
Obviously i am not the most positive of persons on the planet.. usually it is "i don't want to get up, i don't want to go to work, i want to stay in bed!"
It can take me quite a while to "properly waken up" by this i mean, become at least half normal and have the ability to hold a small conversation.
I don't drink coffee, rarely drink tea, don't smoke.. these would be all considered something to help wake someone up or set someone up for the day? For me, it is probably a bit of a walk with the dog, i enjoy the quiet time and i guess that silence allows my brain to wake up and start slowly functioning before work.
So tell me, how do you wake up? Are you a positive upbeat loving each morning kinda person? Or a bit more grouchy like me? Have a great day

Make my world go round
To share intimacy and affection, not to be looking at the clock, worrying about the next thing on the 'to do' list, not worrying about anyone calling around, any disruptions.. just two people enjoying each others company. Soft butterfly kisses, slow passionate lingering ones, cuddles, snuggles, giggles and laughter.
Talking each other into not getting up.. just yet. Five more minutes before breakfast, despite grumbly rumbly tummys. Wondering if an entire day spent in bed would be classed as lazy? Convincing each other that actually.. nope it would be most appropriate to stay in bed, closed away from every distraction that could possibly ever come between two people.
Hope you all have a wonderful Lazy Sunday, appreciate them and treasure each and every single one of them, I know am

Pet names.. or pet peeves..?

So.. while I was shopping this evening, I spotted a rare and unusual sight.. a normal "check out till" rather one of the self checkout 'express' tills which I absolutely detest. So I rolled myself over, to be greeted by "hello pet".
Now, if this was by a little old lady, I most probably would not have batted an eyelid, give it a second thought or be mildly amused.. but the fact that it was a by a female, who appeared to be a few years younger than me.. made me stop and think.
As the shopping was being put through, we made polite chitchat, discussed the change in the weather, holidays blah blah blah, but with every question/answer/statement came a 'love' 'pet' 'darling'..
Got me thinking do I use pet names? I suppose so with people that I consider myself close to, am I guilty of calling someone a babe, sweetie, baby ? Rarely in public and NEVER to a stranger lol.
So tell me.. pet names? Like or loathe them? Or like me, does it depend upon the person doing the name calling? Also.. what is the worst pet name you have been called?

So hello.. been reading through a few blogs today and decided "hmm these are rather good!" , perhaps my inner writer is trying to peek through.. because here I am!
