Bayberry; My mom had a pair of bayberry pillar candles that she only lit once a year. I associate their scent with Christmas.

If you had to write a Christmas greeting no more than ten words in length that would be printed on 100,000 Christmas cards, what would it be?

Mine would be;

Wishing you peace, joy, and good health this holiday season.

I am a fortunate person, and today of all days, that should be reasonating through every molecule of my soul. Yet, I sit here feeling alone, and distant from everyone. I never feel so alone as I do when the house is filled with my extended family.

My sisters and I don't argue or anything. I just never feel that we're on the same wavelength. We don't have the same priorities in life. I just never feel like we have a heart to heart discussion.

Do I expect too much?

Anyway, I hosted Thainksgiving dinner today. I had a great time preparing it. My oldest came home for the weekend and helped me. It's good to share my kitchen with her. There is something special about it that allows for good conversation, meaningful conversation.

The turkey was perfect, the stuffing awesome, the gravy devoured almost as fast as my cranberry relish. My impressed with a squash soup, squash cassarole, and a pumpkin pie. We had to laugh though, as I have on every major ocassion for the past 30 years, I left something in the oven and forgot to serve it.

The string bean cassarole went home with my brother-in-law. Everyone in my family LOVES it, expects it, but has learned that they won't be getting it at my house. I was trying to please, so I made it for them this year. Well, for a change, nobody asked for it. Go figure, the one time I make it. Oh well....

Let me saw goodnight, I hope you all had a nice thanksgiving.

Yesterday an elderly man commented on the manners of my . Apparently, the man, had first noticed my 's curtesy toward me through the window, when we first pulled in to the restaurant parking lot. My hopped out of the car quickly and opened my door. And through the evening he displayed proper etiquette.

I think my is only as good as his friends are at this. So, I question why it struck the man as so overt. And then I got to thinking that these young do display more chivalry than there dads do.

Is chivalry lost as we get older? Did it skip a generation?

One More Quirky Comment About Kissing

I once dated a guy whose kisses were the greatest turn on for me. But, and this is a GIANT but, I found him otherwise totally repulsive. I have always been a fair person, and believed in giving people second chances. So, I went out with him a second time. And from the moment he picked me up, I was repulsed and bored by him. However, when he went to drop me off and kissed me goodnight, I once again found myself adoring his kisses.

It was one of the strangest things in my life to date. Has anyone ever had a similar odd reaction to a date/person?

Lover, gently tugs,
Slowly turns each nipple,
Lips caress them.

Moan and purr softly.
Feel like putty in his hand
Nipples, oh so hard.

Pussy moistening.
Stretch and arch, lips meet,
We escape today.

10 Quirky Facts About Kissing

Think you know a thing or two about kissing? You probably do. But the facts below are so off the beaten path, bet you don’t know them all. Not only could they provide some steamy “Did you know…?” small talk, but they’ll help you see all the benefits a satisfying liplock can bring into your life. Happy smooching!

1. Two out of every three couples turn their heads to the right when they kiss.

2. A simple peck uses two muscles; a passionate kiss, on the other hand, uses all 34 muscles in your face. Now that’s a rigorous workout!

3. Like fingerprints or snowflakes, no two lip impressions are alike.

4. Kissing is good for what ails you. Research shows that the act of smooching improves our skin, helps circulation, prevents tooth decay, and can even relieve headaches.

5. The average person spends 336 hours of his or her life kissing.

6. Ever wonder how an “X” came to represent a kiss? Starting in the Middle Ages, people who could not read used an X as a signature. They would kiss this mark as a sign of sincerity. Eventually, the X came to represent the kiss itself.

7. Talk about a rush! Kissing releases the same neurotransmitters in our brains as parachuting, bungee jumping, and running.

8. The average woman kisses 29 men before she gets married.

9. Men who kiss their partners before leaving for work average higher incomes than those who don’t.

10. The longest kiss in movie history was between Jane Wyman and Regis Tommey in the 1941 film, You’re in the Army Now. It lasted 3 minutes and 5 seconds. So if you’ve beaten that record, it’s time to celebrate!

Did You Have Sex Today?

Today is a special anniversary for me. It's the anniversary of the first time I had full penetration intercourse. 31 years ago today, in a '74 AMC Matador, I held his cock in my nervous hand and directed it through my hairy brunette bush, between my soft pink labia and into a wanton pussy. I was tight. I thought he would never go it. We pushed and he made it in a bit. I moaned, and he pushed in fully.

This morning I commemorated that first. Between the two of us there is enough extra weight for another person. Our attitudes are sucky, less concerned with ancillary stuff. But the one constant, at least for me, is that first push through tight dry lips is still the best.

Yesterday, I was searching the Barnes & Nobles website and came across a book written by a man with the name of an old college friend. I did a little research and found that in fact, they were one and the same man. This is someone that I have not spoken to since I graduated college, but whom was a pivitol person in my four years of college. I'm thinking of emailing him.

Here is the kicker. During our college years, all of my female friends had some type of sex with this man. He deflowered a good number of virgins in freshman year alone. And he came up with some creative ways of cumming with women that wouldn't allow him intercourse. He mainstreamed oral sex to our circle of friends, and used ass cracks and thighs when need be. But the one that I always thought funny was he fucked one friend in the belly button.

I was the lone woman not to subcome to his rovering ways. He had a girlfriend from his high school days that he was still dating. In fact, yesterday's research turned up that they are married. Back then, I had very strong ideas against cheating. It was a clear cut subject, for which I saw no exceptions.

So, what I am wondering is whether he cheats on her in marriage, the way he cheated on her while dating. How tasteless would it be of me to email him and ask? I am curious.
