Scam Alert: Me 1-0 Scammer

How are you? Hope all are doing well... No Monday blue's I hope?
Today I shall share with you how someone on the site, from KL tried to scam me but little did he/she knew that am also kinda good in tracking and tracing these buggers.
I guess some of my investigate journalism skills were put to test.
Anyway, It stared with a simple hello, then a small talk and moved to we chat.
This is where it got interesting.
First he/she claimed to be a traveler from a neighbouring country who often visits KL and would like to make new friends.
Then it went to perhaps we are fated to be together (Cmon you hardly know me and you wanna claim we are fated? cheap tricks). This instantly triggered the scam alert.
Meanwhile, with the help of some softwares, I managed to track this person.
I hv been on the site for some time and knew no one real would straight away say stuff like this. So we chatted, I played along, until he/she wanted me to register at a site so that he/she could chat more frequently. (2nd scam alert)
i played along (but will never click a link given to me) and made excuses that the site is blocked by Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission) and even forwarded a block notice usually posted by the commission when accessing sites that are deemed violating Msian laws.
He/She kept on persisting that I should try disabling my firewalls, anitvirus softwares etc.
But in the end gave up and said that it's no use (wait weren't we like fated to be together? LOL busted).
Eventually he/she said that he/she can't believe the site is blocked. Then I questioned why do you need the site when you are already chatting with me on Wechat? That's when the scammer went blanke and later said he/she just wanted more people to join the site so that the company of the site would reward he/she with points.
Haha.. wouldn't it be easier if you had just told me that?
Well after it was a silent chat. Am glad I put this scammer where it belongs... and that is in my blocked list. Later I told her/him the country of origin he/she was using the wechat from and VisionPersonals.com too. (The scammer was shocked and couldn't say a thing but asked how did I know.
If you are wondering who this is... the VisionPersonals.com handle is X...... and the WeChat is M....
This should be enough clues...
I hope you all read this and not fall for the scammer. If you know some, do share the list.
