My cold is getting to me, I haven't seen my granddaughter all week...I miss her. Her mom and dad have been home sick also. Went to grandson/nephew's first birthday dinner last night. It was very nice...he's so beautiful, he reminds me of my brother as a baby. He is a flash back in time. I raised my brother from age two on, our parents died fairly young...so it's like he has always been mine. In the past few years he found an old friend from high school , fell in love and along came his . Seeing the baby brings back such sad memories. Being that we struggled to survive and such.
Pool has been tough also...they raised my handicap and I have lost the last three matches. It beats on your spirit. Last week lost 8 and nine ball, last night lost 8 and won 9. For that I can blame nick...acting captain...he put me up against the guy who beat me in straight pool last week. Five games games and zip...his wife was my match tonight but needed to go out of town. She's a closer match...I beat her the last time but that was before I went up in handicap.
Nothing big planned for the weekend really...dinner tonight, birthday party for little J first birthday. The up side is that it's out and they will prob have pizza and wings. Sun a fund raiser for cmc and then going to hall to see mr cue...maybe I will learn a trick or two .
I have a feeling I am boring the masses...life is mundane although I try and stay busy...this week has been a break. Sorry for boring everyone...thanks for listening. x

Working on new painting...the girl who this will be gifted to , has a bad luck thing about trunks being down...it's a gift...when they have trunks up in photos they are angry. Had she said something before the paint i would have changed it. I told her i would make her something different...I'm thinking it's going too be cute.
Today i was called really bad names because who i voted for....something like ignorant bigoted racist. I think it's time to join together for the good of our country, not continue to be divided. It's time to get back to what i can do...not focus on continued hate. I feel sad about this...the fellow took down his post, but that isn't what i expected.
