about 23 yrs ago someone gave me a watch...I threw it out in my attempt to de-clutter. Well, yesterday someone asked me if i could find out pawn shop value on this watch...i know i can't afford it. It's eating me alive...this was the same watch i threw out, or at least it looks the same. This is where having money matters. So today I will go to pawn shop...see what they will offer. So I can tell this fellow what he can get. Why do things circle around like this...what is the reason behind this? I am drivin to keep this watch but have no way to buy it. Sadly this young man will use the money to do drugs and wind up in jail. Fate is funny to us.
Just started thinking...a beginning of a story.
Sometimes it’s easier to just start out at the beginning …Sol was a good man, a man could work a lifetime now days and never get anywhere. When he was a boy he watched his father work all his life, providing for his family. The watch was Sol’s, it was a gift his father gave him…he wore this watch for almost 50 years. It was the constant reminder that a man’s worth could be lost in a single moment. The soft ticking, of a perfectly geared watch. He lay there, as the rhythmic ticking and the steady whistle of the monitor broke the silence. He looked down upon his body, which was a mass of tubes and needles. As long as the watch ticked, Sol breathed. The gold watch glistened as light from the street lap came through the ER window. It was family tradition that the watch be handed down from father to . Sol never was lucky enough to have a . His wife had died shortly after they married and he never loved again. Now, he was coming home…Arthurina would be there and they would be together again. As a burst of breath stirred him, the watch slipped from his wrist, the band broken. The watch rolled under the heating element against the far wall. As the watch rolled, the last breath escaped Sol. His chest rose and then fell and it was over. She was waiting, he must hurry…at last…finally he was going home. The watch was left under the heater for almost 23 yrs. before my father had found it. Not knowing, he carefully put the watch into his pocket.
Everyone needs love...

[Well, what i want and what i will get are too different things...so its often about settling and just getting by. I would like the dream...to be happy, maybe in love...have something meaningful. The likelihood is, it will be functional sex just to take the edginess off of life.]

For these thoughts I am almost speechless. I see you in the shadows of my mind. Your eyes, they pierce into my being. You are calling me from the most basic of places. I am still waiting for your touch. I in this empty room. The air is cool as if your breath has not reached the tip of my breast. My heart beats fast. Shivers against my skin in anticipation. I feel your touch from across the room. The darkness whispers of desire. Your smell calls to me. I am entranced , helpless as if frozen in time.

As I lay in your arms So brief a moment Our bodies merge and become one I the earth As the waves pound into my body Spent as the tide recedes tears fall to the beauty of our love making As the tide recedes Lovers repeat this wonderful moment As long as the ocean has touched our earth Memories captured like grains of sand As if I were to live a thousand years I would never forget how the ocean feels against my skin As your tide pulls me in drawing with its wet lapping Cold against my heart The depths of your love making Forgetting to breathe I drown in you
