Finally...the election is over. What a travesty. Nearly every election in my lifetime has been a choice of the lesser of 2 evils...and this was the worst one yet. I'm glad it's over, but I know we'll start seeing candidates preparing for the 2020 election within the next year. The process needs to change.

My new refrigerator will be delivered tomorrow. This is the first time I've ever paid for the extended protection plan on anything, but from what I read and hear they just don't make them as well as they used to (my last one lasted 29 years!) so figured it was well worth the $199 for 5 years of protection.

Most people love the fall season...not me. Yes, the weather is nice, the trees turning colors is nice, football starts, the World Series is coming up, but...the golf season is winding down and winter is right around the corner. This is when I start getting sad. Give me spring and summer!

It's hard to believe summer is half over! Seems like winter drags on and on, and then summer flies by. It happens every year, but still always surprises me lol

Golf is so frustrating! One good shot and you feel great. But then that can be followed up by a bunch of really crappy shots and you feel like you've never played the game before! Argh!! Oh well, gotta get to bed and get some sleep before tomorrow's tee time! lol

Finally able to get my 'fun' cars out! A couple of RX-7's and a 64 MGB. Always fun to get them out in the spring (or early summer), clean them up and go cruising

Man, I love this time of year! After a long, cold, dreary winter, everything is turning green and coming alive! I can drive with the windows down, and even take the convertible out with the top down! You can keep winter...you can keep fall. Give me spring and summer!

Finally! Spring has arrived in eastern Iowa. I spent time in the garage this morning etching a circuit board for my latest project. Playing golf this afternoon. It just doesn't get any better than that! And to top it off the Blackhawks won last night! Life is good

I LOVE this time of year! Finally getting outside a little bit. Played golf twice in the last week. Even washed the car in the driveway a couple of weeks ago. Everything greening up nicely. We're through the worst of the winter and it's time to get moving again

Finally, the Iowa caucus' are done! No more political ads and phone calls! Well, not until later in the year anyway when the liars and cheaters will once again be trying to convince me how great they are! The system is broken. I know I'll survive it, but I worry about my and grand-.
Oh well...almost golf season. Another 5 or 6 weeks and we'll at least be thinking about playing

Half way through winter...looks like I'll make it through another one lol. Winter is especially dreary in an election year. Can't wait for all the liars to quit filling the airwaves with their bs.
But, at least it's been a relatively mild winter so far. The snow insurance I bought in late November (a new snowblower) has been worth it so far!

Despite playing golf twice last week (pretty rare to play golf in Iowa in December) winter still stinks! On a different note...is anyone else thoroughly fed up with all the political BS flying around?? And we still have nearly a year to endure it

Once again winter is rolling in. Winter always depresses me, and it gets worse as I get older. Need to find something fun to do during the winter!
