I’ve been somewhat off the grid today and greatly remiss in Goodwill.
Just want to wish my friends from Canada a Happy Thanksgiving, even if it’s somewhat late in the day.
I was actually invited up for the weekend but had to work late last night. I have a feeling I could have still made it, but the wife was somewhat down (or maybe I’m just making excuses.
Will have to make it up to my friend and her family.

I'm talking summer!!
I have bad knees from my many years of Soccer. I’ve had three surgeries on both knees, and fortunately I stopped (involuntarily) before it got to a stage where I would regret playing.
For that reason I don’t jog when I exercise, and the only sport I take part in is Ping Pong or Badminton.
I also thought my days of hiking were over, but last week I actually did a little of that and some rock climbing. I couldn’t believe the fun I had.
It was all a part of my catching up on my lost summers of the past 3 years. This has been added to my list of activities for next summer, a list that is getting interestingly longer and longer each week.
But it’s a wonderful dilemma, so I’m loving it!
What made my day of hiking/rock climbing even more fun was the little 2 year old who doesn’t seem to realize that she’s required to get tired before the hike is done.
Oh, my goodness! She had me running to keep up with her (I didn’t want her falling off one of those “cliffs.” That would have been some serious shit. Hell, she should have been struggling to keep up with me, not the other way around.
Wow! She really took it all out of me.
When I got home I got down on the carpet and was asleep before you could blink.
I wonder if we could do it one more time before winter gets here?

Brandon Jacobs is finally running the way he did before he got paid. No more of that annoying dancing when he gets to the line of scrimmage. No more going East/West when he should be headed North/South.
It's many of these same "athletes" who complain that the other team was unprofessional because they stepped on their neck when they were down, completely forgetting about showing up after they get paid. What could be more unprofessional than playing below your potential after getting rich? Should the other team suddenly be sorry for you because yu didn't come to play?
I know our season might be close to over, but it would be nice to see them go down like men instead of mouse! |

I want to say "Thank you" to all who have visited here. I shouldn't have to steal someone's idea to know to do this but that's what I've done.
I've had 500 posts, which is kind of a surprise since I never expected to do much posting.
When I came to this site the idea was to look at a lot of nude, semi-nude, freaky, or alternate lifestyle pics, with an occasional posting now and then.
I should have known better; with my love for writing, works of art, and literature in general, it was only natural that I would end up loving this art-form.
But even so, there were times when I wondered, "why bother?"
Thanks again, to those of you who encouraged or inspired me enough for me to continue, until I've gotten to this point. It's because of the comments by my visitors, watchers, and commenters that I've managed to last this long.

When I was much younger I saw a movie preview starring James Spader, and I was really turned off by him (to this point I still can't remember the title of the movie). I think it was the role he played that really got to me and not necessarily him as a person.
Then again, I’m not sure I knew how to separate the two then.
It was years later when I watched a movie that had Charlize Theron in it, that I started to appreciate him as an actor. The movie was "Two Days in the Valley", which I got in error. I was trying to get "Grosse Pointe Blank", which featured John Cusack, and somehow I got both titles mixed up.
But in the end it worked out since I loved both movies.
I started catching up on James Spader movies and became a fan after that. Which is how I ended up seeing the later seasons of "The Practice", and all of "Boston Legal". Pissed me off when it ended!
Hard as it might be to believe, I still haven’t sat and watched "Pretty in Pink" as yet. I have seen bits and pieces; don’t know why I don’t just sit and watch it once and for all.
I do have a copy of "Secretary", with him and "Maggie Gyllenhall" and, apparently, I’m saving that too.
So, it’s no surprise that I was thrilled by the new show, "The Blacklist", last night or that I was having fun for that entire hour.
Of course I still have no clue what’s really going on, but I think I have an idea.
I think I see James Spader the same way I see Robert Downey Jr., except that both Robert and John Cusack did a lot more romantic comedies when they were younger.

A man apparently took too much Viagra recently; enough to keep him firm for a whole week. After he suffered a week-long erection, his private parts became inflamed, and he developed gangrene.

As we get ready to be submerged for the next 8 months I thought I would put this thought in writing:
I have always had a healthy respect and been scared of Hurricanes having been lucky enough to survive one. Then I moved to Ohio (from New York) and realized that tornadoes were even more scary.
In New York I used to complain about the snow; then I moved to Ohio and realized, I didn't have it that bad then.
Now I realize that when it comes to the elements, so many folks have it so very much worse.
