I met my first boyfriend when I was 17. We work for the same company but he was at a different branch. I STILL remember the very first thing he did was to give me an apple, a red apple. I asked him WHY give me an apple?? I can't remember what he said but to this day I remembered that apple that he gave me....It was like heaven...the first time that I got to SHARE everything including a lunch box oh haha yes his mom gave him a lunch box to take to work. We would sit in the car together and just ENJOY the food and each other.
Time passes byyy and fast forward to 4 years you thought that everything would remain as it is and as it turned out everything was about to CHANGE. By this time I had already resigned and worked elsewhere and we didn't see much of each other by this time and he called me to say that he wanted to see me.
It was at a park near to my house and he brought along a woman with him. My very first impression of her was that she was NICE. I guess it wasn't meant to be. It was difficult to accept but I knew deep down that I am NOT the woman for him. I was angry at him at the time but now not anymore....things happen for a reason. All water under the bridge now. I believe that by leaving me I became a BETTER person, a LESSON for me. You wouldn't like the OLD me. I was selfish, self absorbed and a snob too.
There were others after him but none that I really take after. After he left me, I changed jobs AGAIN and went out of my parents house. I drove and drove in my little car and decided to stay at a little town up north where I worked at a club where people pay you for your time. ' Booking ' is the term they used. I stayed for a year here and gave my money away to a jobless boyfriend who sometimes slap me for no reason. He took away my car and my savings and I came back home to my parents. Dad was furious and said how stupid I was.
I applied for work at a shop and later on asked for transfer to another branch at a town down south. I stayed here in this town for a year too and here I got involved with a married man and it was ugly. I now stay CLEAR of married men.
I quit my job and rent a room and worked for a Japanese retail company. Here in this company I GREW and I stayed here for 7 years. Renting a room with little money , my wage was small and it was painful sometimes you don't even have enough money to buy working shoes but it made me STRONGER. Yes, I became stronger here.
By this time I was 30 plus and I wondered where to after this. The first thing I did was to buy a broadband the Internet I told myself. Yes, I know it sounds silly, everyone has broadband connection nowadays but I didn't and it was an eye opener for me. I was promoted to a Supervisory position by this time and I resigned. I wanted to do something that I haven't done before. Teaching, ....those that followed my blog knows that I've been a teacher and I loved it.
Things don't always go as you want it to go but sometimes that is GOOD.Change is good. I still remember this phrase from the movie ' Night at the Museum ' where the hero said, ' I don't even know what I will do tomorrow' and the other person said~ HOW EXCITING!
I am a Single 41 year old and I am HAPPY. I love my life and I aim to ENJOY every minute of it

YES am Happy that I got accepted to work here in this mini zoo but I am SOooooo Frustrated that after 3 days here all that I got to do is clean the windows 2x a day, spray the hanging bush pots, cover people during lunch breaks, help tell the directions to places in the park..... Nooooo I CAN'T feed the animals yet, Nooooo you CAN'T hold the animals in your hand, Noooooo you CAN'T handle the Macaws yet No this, NO THAT....sigh!!!
Yes, I think it is good that they follow procedures that they don't allow new people to do THINGS but I don't think am THAT GREEN. Hey, I am a matured woman of 40++ that have done a variety of jobs. I think I can handle responsibility. I am not a young miss that is just out of school. I think it is NOT FAIR. They told me to be patient but I STILL think it is NOT FAIR. They told me to LEARN first then and ONLY then they will guide me and have me THINGS TO DO besides the things that I've mentioned.
Ohhhhh I CAN'T wait to be like the rest of them. They ALWAYS have things to do, they walk fast, a DESTINATION of where to go, they are N E E D E D to be somewhere but ME, nobody cares. I am just a tiny shrub at the side of the path. Well, that is what I feel. I wish for the time to be COUNTED as part of the team to be NOW but I know I have to W A I T. I don't want to but I HAVE TO and I'll try to do it with a SMILE on my face. Don't know how long I can keep this smile on my face but you know me the girl with the smile on her face.
Here are some photos of the BIG cats that we have here. The while lion and the Black Panther
This type of tiger can be found in our rainforest. Dad used to tell me that in the 60s he was driving along the road to grandmas house up on the hills and he saw these 2 cubs walking by along the side of the road. The Mama was nowhere but Dad says the Mama must be nearby. Nowadays, I don't think we get to witness anymore of such scenes.
Well, wish me LUCK in my new job. Am going to need it HAHA
Bye , bye Lots and LOTS of HUGS and oh a KISS too

Hi hi HIiiiii How are youuuuuusmooch x smoochxx SMOOOCCHHHxx{=}{=}
Here are some stories at my new workplace You have NO idea how incredible my working life is nowadays hehe , let me tell you some of the animals that we have....Introducing .....jeng jeng....drumroll please.....crickets, worms, squirrels, parrot, frogs to name a few
Have you ever been to a petshop and buy some crickets for food for your fish? Well, on my 3rd day there, YES only my 3rd day there and I am asked to serve a customer! HAHA You have to have this sort of funnel you see and a waiting bag that you insert the mouth of the funnel into and then you KNOCK! KNOCK! the crickets to fall into the bag. The crickets are kept using egg trays and when I tryyyyy to KNOCK the crickets into the funnel they keep JUMPING UP and won't go into the funnel The crickets were EVERYWHERE and I had to catch them before they jump toooooo farrr awayyy....some of them do get awayyyy and well, you learn by your mistakes right hehe
Okayyy....about the worms...YES! WORMS!!! oh YES worms. We sell 2 types of worms here. Got big worms and small worms. Do you knowww that the way they sell it here is by scooping it up by your hand??? OH YES GOODNESS! they wiggle and WIGGLE and I had to brace myself literally! Geee....at that moment, I picture in my mind of fried worms that they sell in some countries to be consumed and I just thought WOWW....Amazing! I gotten used to the wiggly worms noww...heyyy....it is food for the fish
We have squirrels and this one squirrel we have him up on a sort of wooden plank with his feet tied to a chain. We have a sort of hanging container for his water and food. This guyyy oh yess....he keeps going from one end of the plank to the other end and keeps knocking his containers dowwwnn and in a dayyy PHEW I can't even recall how many times I had to put it up againn....LUCKY guyyy this squirrel to have someone to look after him like ROYALTY HAHA YES your MAJESTY! You dropped your containers dowwwnnn again...and Again and AGAIN...? yes your majesty
Ahhhh....the PARROT Goodnesss! You have NO idea how exasperating a parrot can be mmmmm mmmmmm They bite if you get too close and everyday we had to take him inside for the nite. He is on wooden plank same like the squirrel but different type of containers for his water and food. So the wayyy that I do it is I will just pull him slowwly dragging the plank slowwly. He is so smart that when I tried to come near him he will lower his beak towards as if to bite and I can't even come close. This one time I was too exasperated yess...we have to RUSH. We have got only one hour before closing time to keep all of them inside for the nite. I held the plank ALOFT up into the AIR! and he was quiet and just move his body from side to side. Ahhhh...dear parrot. You're such a darling aren't you
THE FROGS! Ribbit ribbit! noooo...they don't make any sound ah...hehe We just keep them in a glass case filled with some water and they leap around. Well some of them do. Again , here in this pet shop they use bare hands and I got my first feel of how soft and lumpy a frog's belly is and I imagine some people eating frogs and I thought Hmmmmm no 'wonder they do....they're soft and if cooked I think it would make one tasty dish I remember watching a documentary of fried frogs on a stick.
Working hours are shorter MUCH shorter than at the previous pet shop that I've worked and here in this place they hire foreigners for I think not many locals would do this type of work. I wonder whyyyy It' s good HONEST work and you get to see and be around with AMAZING animals ALL DAY! I am in love with the bunny rabbit that we have here. Ohhhh SO FLUFFY! Like a cushion when you hold her Mmmmmmmmm Dear bunny Labbit. Oh yes... I call here LABBIT not rabbit...sounds better
I aim to garner as much experience as I can about taking care of animals during my time here and being surrounded by wonderful friends...is like icing on the cake They may be foreigners but they're human tooo....they need our love, RESPECT and care. Just imagine if we are at their place....what would we FEEL. I feel so lucky and SO BLESSED that I am a Malaysian more so that I've known some of the foreigners here and FRIENDS we are REGARDLESS!
May this NEW YEAR bring joy peace and LOVE all around the Globe. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
