I'm thinking of trying something new... I struggle to think of topics worthy of blogging about, so I don't post anything for months. If I have a couple weekly picture posts, maybe that'll get the juices flowing! So, welcome to my first ever Sex Toy Sunday! So I went out to see 50 Shades... and I have to say I was underwhelmed. I left with the impression that the filmmakers were afraid to be branded soft core pornographers so were afraid to put in too much sexual stuff... but isn't that what put the books on the radar in the first place? A couple of the scenes were pretty hot, but short and nothing you can't see in most any R rated movies. The BDSM scenes don't bother me, but don't do much for me. I think I understand better now why the audiences are overwhelmingly female. I don't think I'll bother seeing the sequels, and if I can put a prediction out there, this movie got all the 50 Shades hype, and was a box office success on reputation, the sequels will do very poorly in comparison.

Have you ever had an experience where things were going... very well... then something happened to bring things to a screeching halt? I just happen to have an example from my past! Convenient as I have a blog and need something to talk about!
Meeting a friend and with no where in mind to go, we decided to go "park" and get some cuddlin' in. We drove out of town on a little dirt road, getting clear of the prying eyes of civilization. We found a little turn around, with no sign of life and far enough off the beaten path that there should be no chance of anyone stumbling upon us. We moved to the back seat and things were going very well indeed, very much into the hot and heavy. Then I made a comment about seeing a light. Funny thing is that light was just from a cell tower, but about 20 seconds later a car turned into our little private turn around. It stopped about 20 yards away, and needless to say we stopped. Then it started to roll and pulled up about 5 yards away and stopped again. Oh shit! And it didn't end there... Then a spotlight appeared where the driver's window was. It was a freakin cruiser! Now I don't think we were doing anything illegal and this really was a private nook. I'm thinking the cop was wondering if it was an abandoned vehicle. With the spotlight, I'm sure our silhouettes were crystal clear and the light may have lingered a few extra seconds... before the light went out, and moments later the cruiser started to back away. When it's tail lights were out of sight we both started laughing and my friend pointed out that I instantly went soft when the car approached! But it's a happy ending, I was back strong in no time and we finished our night with a "bang"!

Disappointments, a product review

So, I've tried out a new product, originally bought this for my fleshlight thinking it would turn up the heat, not that it needs it!!! I purchased KY Warming Liquid personal lubricant expecting great things. What I got was maybe a very mild bit of warmth, and a lube that wasn't slippery. I normally use Astroglide Natural and love it, for comparison. It got... not sticky but a little tacky very quickly and just didn't get the heat sensation I was hoping for. I wonder how it would work for a couple? I've tried ones that get tacky in the past and usually am disappointed. Will have to try something new

Reviewing My New Toy

Well, I've had my Fleshlight for about a week now and have had a chance to give it a few test drives, so not just first impression.
Taking it out of the package- I'm so happy I bought the clear one, this thing looks super cool! The material isn't lifelike, but super soft and kinda rubbery. The opening? A pretty nice looking clear vagina, complete with little budding clit. That made me smile, kinda cool lol. Once you put the insert in the "light", its much bigger than a flashlight but easy to handle one handed.
Getting ready- The first time I lubed myself up pretty thoroughly, and lubed the toy. I learned pretty quick that that was overkill, a little squirt of water based only lube on the vagina and just a little inside and it spreads in its own. Read a tip for a really neat trick, run hot water through it for a bit and its nice and warm for use.
My experience- Wow this toy is cool. There are so many little things and after a small handful of tries, I'm still learning these little tricks. It doesn't feel like the real thing but I can't imagine a toy feeling much closer. And compared to my normal masturbating routine? Went from where there was a little contact where my fingers wrapped around, and next to nothing on my head, to this thing wrapped all around, total sensation. It feels very good, and is adjustable how much pressure, how much suction it can create. The inside has all these little knobs, ridges, etc., can't feel them individually, think that's just selling features to guys on the fence. But the way it stimulates everything, very very nice. And did I mention I love that I chose the clear one? Pretty hot to watch myself sliding in and out, seeing this toy slide over me. It's not perfectly clear and one little surprise is I thought I'd see a cumshot. But it's just opaque enough that really couldn't see the ejaculation.
Post coital- Reviews I had read were all positive for play but said wiat till you have to clean after, what a pain. What??? Rinse with hot water for 30 seconds and it's done!! I'm probably rinsing longer than I have to at that!! I am going to get the recommended disinfectant/ cleaning agent for use after every few times. And I'll always make sure it dries before putting it away, there's a little warning about mold if putting it away wet!!
Summary- Wow, any toy for guys I've tried before was Meh... at best. This thing is pretty awesome and I think I'm gonna like it for a long long time!

It hasn't arrived yet but I'm pretty excited I've been wanting one for quite a while, turned out a little 2 a.m. internet shopping (yes a couple glasses of wine fueled) made me pull the trigger. Merry Christmas Blogtopia!
I was very fortunate to spend my Christmas morning surrounded by loved ones, albeit recovering from a nasty Flu yuck! But I got to thinking what about the loved ones we don't get to see on such a special occasion? I think of my folks on the other side of the country... Friends and family that are just to far away to get to see...
And I realized that I'm sending just as much love out to them, and getting it in return, even if we can't get together over the Christmas Holiday. I keep them all in my thoughts and heart and can't wait till the chance does come up to see everyone in person.

Sharing a fond memory...
I was speaking one afternoon into the evening with a special friend, missing her more and more and wishing I could see her to spend some time together and show her exactly how much I was missing her The problem was I had something going on that night and wouldn't be able to go for a visit till likely after midnight. We went back and forth for hours, could I, should I, was that just crazy, after all it was an hour drive on top of the late timing... Finally, as I was on my way to my previous engagement, I said I really wish I could see you but this is a bit crazy, we'll have to wait for another time. I knew she was very disappointed, but was ok with it. We were out of touch for about an hour and a half while I was busy. When I got out at 11 I was very happy to find she was still awake to chat. We started chatting again as I drove, I made small talk, asking if she was tired, asking how her night was going... Trying to get a sense if it was too late for a change of plans. Still driving while talking, I finally asked if it would still be ok for me to visit. I think she was a little caught off guard, but said of course, come on over. I said that's great, cause I'm already about a third of the way there and had no intentions of turning back! And my special lady made VERY sure it was SOOOOOO worth the trip!!!
Looking back, as much as I tried to convince myself it was crazy and to just wait till the next time we visited, I now see there was no way I was not going to visit that night!
