So I own a smart phone like a lot of people. Mine came with the usual package deal of Unlimited Nights, and Weekends. Furthermore it also came with Unlimited Mobile to Mobile Minutes. But the real plus point was the extra 450 minutes that were good as Anytime Minutes. Wow could you beat that, ...
Yes a set of ANY TIME minutes that are not available Night, Weekends or for Mobile to Mobile, in reality they were only good anytime you were not at night or weekend or calling another mobile. Do you get it? Cramming & Jamming of a phone bill. Did also know I was only charged $35 to turn the line back on when I was late on a bill so they said...so what about my out of service $ for the line being down?
That's just one to grow on.

In California they require you to show proof of insurance when you register your vehicle. But they have not and I don't believe will work out the kinks in the system....
Suppose now a friend or relative were to send in a check for your registration. That is not illegal, nor do they have to sign for anything. Furthermore they could show proof of insurance...there own...but the best way is to simply pay for your registration when it first arrives in the mail. Couple of reasons. First being you don't have to show proof for a time period that does not exist yet. Second you should already be covered other wise they could not send you out the reregistration form.
This is called showing or taking ownership of a situation. Your partner simply took ownership of the management of your franchised tax. You still have owner-hood. And in reality all you have done is put the system back to where it used to be. That is to say now in California they requirement of insurance can produce a double ticket for not having it if you were to be pulled over for i.e. not having current tags on your car. This new insurance clause can not be simply a fix it ticket either. Worst of all you could have paid for registration but still needed to smog and got pulled over if you did not have proof 2 tickets for it as well even if you did come up with proof later...(which you can always do prior to the hearing) you would still have to pay the fine for not having it at registration. For some reason they don't count your license as a bond for insurance. They just give test just because now.
Just a observation....note you really can't afford not to have insurance though....if you drive...etc etc.
Note this is just ramblings of mine and not advice...
Oh I also noticed today at DMV they only allow foreigners to be listed in the Diplomatic Drivers License category. Pretty much untrue for any American can apply for a diplomatic license, you just pay for it here as well pick a country to have it issued in and then pay another $15 there to the local police....and you now have license to travel abroad that did not require any port to be involved as in a passport...this is a visa...the ability to spend money.

Yes and no...but I do have some easy legal advice that will or can save you a buck or two. We all have to deal with auto Registration, and we probable all hate it. With registration of your car they are also going to want you to produce Proof Of Insurance. Even though I am in insurance I hate this...its all a point of issuance. You can actually slip between all the cracks with a couple of easy steps. Now this advice is to help somebody manage their tax account not defraud it. And why do I offer this...because so many people in my opinion have just assumed that they new the difference like a Drivers License, mine just expired but trust me its not exhausted. My record is clean enough for me to go on sabbatical/Finish my phd on how others can't drive etc etc on my one year permit to drive. After all a permit used to come with the license...and you need a permit to drive in another country...the same one.

So an Amber alert for the entire state, what results did we get? The concept itself seemed to generate the most subject matter of the story. Even with the combined brain power of the states SMART phones which all include a data plan, that plan was poorly executed. Furthermore in reality the car is only able to go so far so fast...was the entire state necessary for a sweeping maneuver all at once, or maybe just a fanning out process could have worked better. (Actually the plan reminds me of one Custard would have made in the movie night at the museum). So what was the excuse to not just text every body and every thing that could receive a text...(like your car stereo) (speaking of which, if you want to target market something like this I would probable have hit the old phones since the old folks wont give them up and they are the type to look for something while traveling...plus we hit the other states for free.
I do know this though...the Govenor. took away phones from government workers for a reason. Maybe that reason was something like this was on the horizon. As lame as it is to think, all of our rights can be taken away when policy like this is enacted. Now we all remember Boston and the bombing and the way they found the alleged bombers; why would you wait until after the fact when you had the perfect excuse to hide a maneuver that up until today was top of news story....the emanate attack on America...I can only assume that the treat level must have been Orange to Red, on the color coded terrorist attack texting at bottom of the TV screen. Makes you wonder too why this was not a Emergency Broadcast Alert...because it was not an emergency with the SOS as the attention signal you have always hear in the test. But the alarm I heard being used on the news was the alarm for an evacuation of a building, which is to also drop everything vs the actual bell sound of the school fire alarm which is to account for all involved and then take a roll call. So was it a little late for you to go out and take a look, too much a bother to checked when asked?. And as well do you think that (and I am asking...) most people we home and in bed, and in such the chances are that whom ever was driving the Toyota was also in a home, could we even look that late. So another question...when everybody is solicited for the same cause you dont think that there could now be a taint? What about primary and secondary evidence, with regards to a Judicial Notice. By the way the definition of a judicial notice is when a judge will take a fact of common knowledge without proof there of. So would you say that a Presumption or a rule of law could be drawn from this which would be the particular inference drawn from the ascertained state of facts....oh and how to be guilty or have a scapegoat is to just merely find the car because the fruits of the crime justifies the inference of guilt...especially when the possession is unexplained or explained falsely.
