 that's not always possible. What if they were a total dick. I mean 100% a dick, I'd need to make them reconsider their world views, similarly with bigots and misogynists. Sometimes, you've just got to stand up to them.

But if they are nice, a bit shy and sensitive about their acceptable views, then yes, make them feel relaxed and comfortable. And try to get a smile out of them.
