Have you ever gone to meet someone from VisionPersonals.com and find yourself talking to someone you don't even recognize? They are shorter, heavier, older, more bald then any of the pics they shared. And now you find yourself with a dilemma...do you call it off then and there or do your manners force you to at least spend a liitle time...be polite? The more it happens, the more I resent being put in that position! I believe these deceivers count on the fact that we dont want to be rude.

I dont want you to think I'm hung up on looks. I'm not. But I do have a problem with liars. When you lie to me I take it offensively...how stupid do you think I am? And I would never see you again if you start out lying.

Just be yourself...whatever that is. Nobody's perfect. I'm too fat, have an overbite and a huge ass....but, this is me. Wouldnt you rather be rejected annonymously then in person? Good luck out there. Make good choices!!

 I look nothing like I used to, and that's why I don't meet, I disappoint myself enough as it is, no need to disappoint anybody else.

As far as that camera phone comment, no, not everyone has one, I don't, and that's on purpose, I see how stupid it makes people, and so I never bothered to buy one, my flip phone for emergencies is good enough for me.

 Wow, I read all the comments, and I didn't know all this stuff happened. I did have one person flak on me recently twice for a meet up, which I just figures they were scared, but to show up and look totally different, that is just rude. I would be pissed off.

Back when my wife was playing, we would meet couples all the time, and they always fit there pictures and profiles.

 What I hate is when you are on cam and everyone who 's in your room claims that they don't have a webcam or mic.
Ironically, these are the same peeps who have uploaded lots of pics and or vids , hard to do without a webcam or phone
I like to cam with guys and girls

 People seem to just not want to be themselves. We are who we are. If the accurate pics get us a meet, then it is truly someone who isn't judgmental.

I call it off, unless that person, whom I don't recognize, is better looking than the picture I saw. I don't worry about appearing to be impolite in those reject-able situations.

 I know the feeling. My good manners cause me a lot of stress. The person went ballistic when he called to meet again. I told him it wasn't a good idea. he wanted to know why. He said I didn't say anything when we first met.

 I would leave in a heart beat. I never meet anyone I have not seen on video chat first. It's not that I am hung up on looks, but if you do not tell the truth about what you look like what else are you not telling>
