Many will have started out with good intentions, but just given up in despair, thereby relying on blogging/chat and pic collecting. I don't blame them one iota for reaching that stage

I've met a few people on here and I play with one couple on a regular basis but every time I turn someone down they say that I'm a fake. I think some of the fake people on here are actually just people that don't want to meet everybody on here.

We have been on VisionPersonals.com since 2008. We met our best friends here...met a lot of other good friends here. There are folks here that collect friends, probably for the pics. Some people are looking for certain types...funny thing is...even if you don't fit their "type" they will view you fairly often making you wonder if they wanna but are too shy to say so. Some people have their standards set so high only a select few could even hope to meet them. Some have HWP and want the same...don't know what they are missing from those of us who may be a bit off scale but are trying to lose weight. We have met and hooked-up with a number of very nice people on VisionPersonals.com, and have had repeat dates with several as well. We do understand that it is tough out there for single men on the site, but it takes patience, good communication, and thick skin if you are not a good match. There are lots of people out there, so be patient. We have also had a couple of people no-show on us (often with dramatic excuses--oooh the drama!) when we were supposed to meet. Could have been fakes, pic collectors, or just Nervous Nellies--hard to tell. We also had a guy go completely silent and non-responsive, after weeks of trying to set up a meeting, and two previous false starts. We tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. We had once again booked a hotel, and were supposed to meet for dinner and (probably) more within a couple of days. When we wrote to say we were canceling, because we don't waste our time on people who are not serious, he all of a sudden responds, gets indignant, rude, and says WE are the fakes. (Probably best we didn't meet after all! ) The key is to follow through on promises, and keep up good communication when a meeting has been set. Over time, we have become better at sifting out those who are not serious or may be completely fake...at least in most cases. It is worth the effort in the long run.

I was on ALT before VisionPersonals.com, with little of anything happening even when i was a paid member. Came to VisionPersonals.com a few years ago when i went off on ALT. Thought that it might "cast a wider net." For a good while, the majority of any views, flirts,and hotlists where from fake accounts. That really did nothing to make me consider upgrading. It was kinda funny that i kept getting the banner touting 15 times more interest with a gold membership. 15x0=0

I have been here for a number of years. Met a few folks and most turned out to be fun and a number of them I met with multiple times. I just don't believe the results of your poll however. There are a number of people who view my profile frequently, I sent them notes, and they never reply. Either they really have a bad short term memory, or they are not interested in meeting. Either way it is a bummer.

One thing i forgot, and might be a future poll, about the "who viewed me" thing. I noticed a few people on profiles mention that they did not view people, but somehow they pop up as such in others' profiles. We have met a few people on here its just been very long between each time and the longer we have been on the more we have found out what we are and aren't looking for which makes it a little harder.
