Women of power - kinks and how they spend their money If you spend enough time online you come across people from all walks of life, some are at either extreme of the social spectrum. Every now and then I come across what you'd describe as a 'high status' individual. By high status I don't necessarily mean very rich or posh, but they are successful and possibly mistress of their own domain - if they're married they call the shots on what happens in life. Often when men are in a position of power, control and responsibility they seek out leisure pursuits that contradict their every day working lives - so CEOs like gambling in casinos because they're not in control, or very dominant senior managers like being submissive. It is of course a traditional gender role for men to have leadership positions sometimes this is what is expected of them, even if they don't really want it. High status women on the other hand are punching through glass ceilings to get where they are - they're empowered, it's a big deal to them - go go Power Rangers! They've truly earned their stripes and it breeds a special mentality . . . and some interesting sexual kinks.  Imagine meeting a pretty girl who's dressed up for you, and you're the one that gets paid, hard to believe it happens but it does I had a high status friend in Lincolnshire, she was hard working, kept herself in great shape training for duathlons (running, cycling) and had a particularly impressive wardrobe of costumes, outfits and lingerie. Like many attractive women online she got bombarded with male attention - could really pick and choose. She indulged herself, satisfying her own personal fantasy, which was to pick out athletic guys in their early 20s, come round her house, have kinky sex, and then pay them for the privilege. It's a bit hard to relate to for me - I'm not hung up on social status or power - material things and luxury don't matter to me - I'm just happy being a smug intellectual  I guess status does matter to those who have really worked for it, hence the runaway success of the Financial Times' How To Spend it supplement. High Status can translate wanting a Rolls Royce or a Sunseeker Yacht I guess, or in my friend's case tailoring her non-relationship sex life to the status she had in society.I wonder if this is an unusual kink that is just a personal agenda, or . . . if more women are the main breadwinner with plenty of dough to spare would they pay for Rent Boys just because they could? Will young bucks become part of a 'because I'm worth it' culture . . . Let me know what you think. |

I wonder if paying the guys was to somehow justify - for want of a better word - having sex without any emotional attachment  I'm sure there are a lot more women out there who pay for sex than we probably imagine  And probably for the reasons you've stated. Having their own money and being able to spend it on who and what they want.While I can't see me paying for sex under normal circumstances, would I if I was working in another country and didn't know anyone and just had to have sex? I'm too tired to think of another example, sorry, Matt I might. It might suit me to have someone come over, fuck me all night then leave when I want them to. Hell, I might even let them make me breakfast, you never know  So while there's not really a 'need' for women to pay guys for sex given that there's lots of men out there ready and willing, there may well be a bigger market for it than there used to be. I couldn't claim to know too much about the escorting game but I think they charge by the hour, so either you're running up a hefty bill or you're gonna wear the rent boy out at some point I did watch a documentary about a male escort service in Sydney were one of the guys claimed a 12-strong hen party 'lost a bet' and had to sleep with him . . . married women fell over themselves to get to the back of the queue but he said he managed to work his way through all of them. So maybe some of the better ones can give you an all-night experience. Like other forms of adult entertainment, perhaps it's something you'd only try in special circumstances - like I only go to strip clubs on holiday, or if it's here in the UK when I can't avoid it - stag parties. That way I'm out of the gutter at least some of the time . . .
