 It absolutely stinks that you have to suffer the reputation others have made, but there it is...

As far as lifestyle parties go, the few I have been to that invite single males showed me why I prefer parties that don't. At each one, a single male behaved very inappropriately. I'm sure there were single men there who were welcome additions to the party, unfortunately I experienced the jerks early and lost interest in the events.

On the other hand, in my experience, open invite meet and greets love to have single men attend. It's nice to have a mix of couples and singles for a fun get-to-know-you event.
