Hugs Not Feels

In the semi-swingers group I used to belong to we always met up on Fridays at the same bar. Ages ranged from young 20's to late 50's. Some were singles and some were couples.

We congregated there because: 1) we followed a particular karaoke DJ; 2) it was public so no harm could come to anyone; 3) it was a chance to meet people in real life who you had only chatted with on-line; and 4) there were no expectations that you'd get laid that night.

What was always funny was the looks we'd get from the "straight" people in the place. They didn't quite understand what was going when a single guy like me would great a couple by shaking the man's hand and getting a big hug and a kiss from the woman he was with. Or why couples would come in and split off to go talk to other men or women. Or why those two guys/girls were sitting so close together. (Everyone was welcome so long as they behaved themselves.)

The point being, hugs and a kiss on the cheek go a lot farther than, "Do you want to fuck?" Guys, if that's your opener you'd do better on Craigslist than here. And girls, if you agree then don't complain that the guy came once, left you hanging, and never called you again.
