Ships Passing

So, for the eight of you watchers standing by - I finally met someone from this crazy place.

I drove for over an hour to a very small town but a rather nice hotel. She came by and entered my room. We talked, kinda sizing each other up - you know.

We went to dinner. We both had steaks; mine was medium rare, hers medium well. We shared an appetizer. We ordered margaritas. We passed photos back and forth, her's on her phone -- mine from my wallet. Our waitress was very attentive.

On the way out of the place, she ran into her sister-in-law. Small towns... what a trip. I was not introduced.

She drove me around her town, showed me where she worked. She made sure I was totally disoriented before driving me past her home.

We went back to the hotel. We checked out the pool. We decided against it. My room had a whirlpool bathtub in it, sadly it went unused but for my shower the next morning (that was THIS morning to be precise).

We became intimate while the television played some cooking show I was unfamiliar with. The Earth did not move. Fireworks were not experienced. When I awoke at 2AM, she was gone.

I drove home after checkout time at 11AM. We're both back online this very second.

She's not currently married, no. Or at least, that's what I was told and her profile says "divorced". I guess I hadn't considered that but, I'm pretty sure that was not the case. Haven't check your blog recently but I hope your foot is on the mend. Sending good thoughts.

 Married isn't always bad...sometimes the chemistry just doesn't click. My Mack, who is my self-proclaimed Sexual Guru (I don't correct him because I'm not sure he's wrong), even has an off day now & then. Here's hoping next time will be better.
