a riff on beauty

i listened to an interview with Maya Anjelou today (some people deserve capitals) and you couldn't help but recognize how beautiful some people can be. no amount of fitness, or tanning or lipstick can post us close to that most authentic beauty.
may a bit of her rub off on all of us.

 Internal beauty~ One's Authentic self~ It's gifts to share can be far more appealing than the clothes, make up and external features. To give freely that beauty to others without expecting something in return is a joy!

 and may the ones we love be many - whether appreciative or not (seeing as most of us have kids and it takes them a while to recognize we usually mean well). and come to think of it - we may be indebted to them for teaching us to love unconditionally.
