We Got Beer
Yes boys and girls, we finally have Beer available in the grocery stores, (see the video evidence)… I forgot that that started at the beginning of December.



In case you don’t know… up here in Ontario, Canada, is the most conservative place around. We were the last place to have Sunday shopping, and now we have BEER! Up until now, you could only buy beer in the government run liquor store, and the Beer Store. The Beer Store is a retail store owned and controlled by 3 big brewers, (Molson, Labatt’s and Sleeman’s) , who sold themselves to even bigger, Brazilian, Belgium and Japanese brewers. The shit hit the wall about 1 year ago, when the Beer store was fingered for putting the squeeze on smaller breweries and price fixing of beer prices and quantities in the government stores. So now, finally we’re like every other modern place in North America.

No beer sold in grocery stores here in New Jersey!! Have to go to a liquor store (all privately owned). I am glad that they civilization has come to you

If only... being like Quebec, would be to dream the impossible dream. Beer there is about half the price we pay. Ontario is very heavy on the sin tax.

You don't have refrigerators in homes in Ohio?

Yes it warm... the government probably wants to make sure we don't have a few on the way home.
