Although it has risen over the last 3 elections (55.7%, 57.1% , 57.5%, for 2004, 2008, 2012, respectively), that's a sad state of affairs. We use to be well over the 70% range up North, dropping to an all time low of 58.8 in 2008. Apathy seem to be order of the day in NA, and politicians seem to be more interested in sound bite instead of issues and solutions.

 As and American headed to Australia soon, I'm leaning for Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass).

She's tough on Wall Street and seems to stand up for us commoners.
