*** Mishaps, Fails and chuckles
Yesterday at a coffee shop, I saw an elderly man accidently drop his coffee on the counter . He made a bit of a mess, but he had a good sense of humor and was able to laugh it off. As several of us and the counter person helped him clean up the counter, I was impressed with his attitude, he said things happen, no need to get upset. When I do something similar, I usually get embarrassed and sometimes mad. I think if we just accept what happened and keep a good attitude, life will be much more pleasant . How do you react when you have a mishap or accident? When I see an accident, I try to keep a straight face and not laugh, but sometimes I am unsuccessful. What was your most memorable public mishap?

 Accidents do happen and, especially if minor, it's best just to take them in one's stride.

 The only thing that gets my embarrassed, and angry, is when the cashier machine don't accept my bank card, only due to its malfunction, but feel all eyes on me.......grrrrr!

I know that feeling. The machines can drive you crazy. I was using one once in a casino and the machine gave me $20 too much. I reported it, and they thought I was pulling a scam. They made it so difficult, after about 20 minutes, I threw the 20 on the floor, told them to go "F" themselves and walked away . I do see some acting like this at machines also [image]

 Accidents always do happen. I am thinking of me at the bank machine and when I went to put my money into my wallet it went onto the floor all over the place. People were kind enough to help me out but I had too much in my hands when I was getting my money. I was totally embarrassed to say the least! hugs V

 I think he had the right attitude, I know we have all had that happen and we get irritated, or embarrassed. But life is short and we can always get another beverage. Just smile and let it go..

 I was walking down a set of high school bleachers and the last step to the floor was taller than the rest. Naturally, I fell flat on my face in the middle of a volley ball game. I popped up and raised my hands above my head - like an Olympic gymnast sticking a landing!

The crowd cheered and my embarrassment was well hidden.
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!
