I have never started an argument just for sex!

My most incredible (and LONG!!) night of sex followed a totally fucking miserable day returning back from a trip with a lady. I was EXTREMELY close to dumping her at her doorstep and finding a hotel for the night before returning home, but I did not – and I sure am glad I did not!  Quite frankly I think she knew what I shit she'd been, and was attempting to make up for it, but that was the last time I ever saw her. I just couldn't deal with the mood swings any more. For the right two people angry make up sex can not only be hot, but both parties are likely to let down guards they normally wouldn't. My first and second wife would deliberately make me a little mad knowing the sex would be a little rougher and more forceful when that was what they wanted. It was such good sex for both of us I just let them both get away with it. It's curious how you can be so mad you think you can 'punish' the other party with an orgasm. "By God I'll show her, I'll make her cum so hard ..." Of course she is just as bad on her side. My second wife and I never went to sleep mad, but we went to bed that way often enough.  Lust brings you together, love keeps you there, sex keeps the mechanism lubricated.

I've never had make-up sex. It usually takes quite a lot to get me pissed off, once I'm there - sex is definitely NOT going to make anything any better. Plus, if I'm pissed, it's about pretty significant things that can't be remedied. So I'm usually one foot out the door anyway.
