After the storm

Into the abyss did I go
The rush of frigid understanding and outstanding scalding of hell
No longer could I rebel against the prism of a prison keeping me captive
I only lay in the rubble and let the demons within my festering soul devour me
My heart was no longer naive and eager
But rather desolate and quite cold
The pages I had turned in the chapters of life
Had forever taught me lessons in which I dreamt not to repeat
I accepted the dues of my defeat
Wearing my scars with all that was left
After the raging storm

 Just about sixteen months since Falsely Accused.
Sounds like the storm left you brutally abused.

Sometimes a person goes though things that are so horrific they defy description.

You are obviously a wise and talented old beyond your time and years, young woman.
I hope for you, that you will continue to write.
