Making the bed is such a chore (HNW)
Sorry to post so late in the day.

Helping my wife make the bed isn't such a chore all the time. The only problem is that it gets messy pretty quick...lol.

 Nice pic - butt on to the question at hand - wait, let me wipe my hands clean. Now, to compliment or not to compliment. Consider how a compliment differs from flattery. Flattery is an insincere complement used to elicit some desired response whereas a compliment is a positive statement of observation. If someone complimented my significant other (here to refered as signifi) and made her feel good about herself, attractive - then if we have a healthy relationship, it would not bother me for two (2) reasons.

1st - Why wouldn't I want my signifi to feel good about themselves whether it was me or some random person that accomplished it.
2nd - The better my signifi feels about themselves, the better time we are likely to have - in short, I reap the benefits no matter who sowed the compliment.
