Another poem?!
The time has come for us to part
And go our separate ways
You once called me your work of art
But now I'm wasted days

The wonderful times we once had
Are so far out of sight
You can only think of the bad
And never the love-filled nights

Your angry eyes pierce my skin
And make my veins run cold
My love was the ultimate sin
A love too hot to hold

I wonder if you cry for me
While staring at the stars
Knowing that I'll never be
There to heal your scars

I've been out here for hours
Standing in the rain
Hoping that these withered flowers
Would help to end my pain

I now see that I was wrong
And you weren't the one
Now it's time for me to be strong
And walk off into the sun.
