Clothes maketh a Gentleman?

In this part of the world, where fashionistas prevail, many ladies define a man by the way he wears his clothes and the car he drives and the cuisine he partakes.

Now, let me first say I am quite partial to this situation.
I am a blue collar worker.
I am good with my hands.
And some profess I am excellent with my tongue.
But I know how to put my tool to good use as I am a very very handy man.

But I really suck in wearing prim and proper clothing.
Let's put it this way.
I don't own a tuxedo.
My shoes are not that kind of leather unless it is waterproof boots.
I perspire a lot.
And my hands get dirty often.
Although many often like me getting downright dirty all the way.
So I don't wear a three piece suit.
Unless you consider 1) condom 2) underwear 3) trousers as the 3 piece suit.

I often think that a gentleman is more of his actions rather than his attire and accent.
Women swoon over that nasal Queen's English accent.

I think I am a gentleman because I always let my lady cum first.
And I don't scream or talk dirty at all but I do encourage my lady to scream dirty words as she is ushered into the realm of the heavenlies.

What do you think?
Does clothes maketh a gentleman?

NB: I am usually out of clothes.

Blue collar/dirty hands and the like - that kinda makes you manly. Dressing to impress can make you seem gentlemanly. But if that isn't backed up by gentlemanly acts and attitude then the whole attempt is nothing but a fake-out show and trust is broken.
Blue collar types often give of a more trustworthy vibe because you know you are seeing the real person.

That being said - why must you limit yourself to one of the other? Change it up now and again. It's fun to get an "oh wow" from someone when you show up uniquely suited (naked does that too).
