Rain Forest - A Night in Heaven
So, as I was saying, we got to the site and the first thing I did after saying my hellos was grab a beer.

We sat around the fire talking and, one of the ladies knocked over the grill. Only one piece of meat made it to the ground so that was good. Eventually, it was burnt enough so that I could eat a few pieces (well, that solved that problem!), have some more beer, and just chilled.



All this time I’m thinking: “God, I hope they keep on talking because if I go to sleep too soon I won’t be able to sleep through the night (on account of the hard ground). Well, maybe because of the beer, or maybe I was having more fun than I realized, it was after 2:00 a.m. and we started turning in one after the other.

I was asleep the minute I hit the ground (my wife had it all covered; comforters and yoga mat).By 5 I was awake, wanting to pee so bad but lazy to go into the woods.



Eventually I went, no problem, came back into the tent and soon the lovely, soothing, wonderful sound of rainfall through the trees and on the top of the tent. I was in heaven!

I soon fell asleep again until it really started pouring. Music to my ears! My wife missed most of that. I could have made love to her and cleaned her up and she probably wouldn’t have known.



We didn’t bother with breakfast in the rain (I could have enjoyed that); instead I gorged on some fruit, which works just as well! Then we got gone.

Believe it or not, I was the one most reluctant to leave!

 Isn't it nice to be out camping and listening to the rain hitting the tent.. I don't tent anymore ,, do the camper van now... Enjoy my dear.. always a lovely moment in life to remember hugs V
