Girth, Not Length

Girth, Not Length

I was somewhat worried when I saw this, you know, just in case I fall back into the dating pool (I’m already not a good swimmer so who needs additional problems): Girth, not length, preferred for one-night stands: study. Sorry, guys, size — specifically girth — does matter when it comes to one-time lovers, according to new research.

Now, I’m always talking about how gifted I am but I’ve never really been sure if my girth is within the natural parameters of largeness. You know, when girls tell me how large I am I’ve always just assumed they were talking about length (they could mean the whole nine yards (no pun intended – even though I went past 9 a long time ago) but my mind just went to length!

The ladies who participated in the study selected models of penises with larger circumferences when asked what they would prefer for a one-night stand, compared to those selected for a long-term partner.

Further down the line I saw this: “But women are looking for 6.5 inches in length no matter the nature of the relationship, according to a new study.”

And I said: “Okay! Now you’re talking.” I mean, I think I’m super-sized, you know? ‘Tear-pussy-apart” large? But what man doesn’t think he’s huge.

Researchers asked 41 women to examine 3D-printed penises of varying sizes and select the model they would prefer for a one-time partner, LiveScience reported.

They were also told to pick out the model they would prefer for a long-term lover.

The blue models came in 33 different sizes and ranged from 4 inches long and 2.5 inches in circumference to 8.5 inches long and 7 inches in circumference.

The models the participants chose for one night stands had larger girths than those picked for long-term relationships.

Length didn’t seem to make a difference. The women preferred 6.5 inch-penises for both types of relationships, according to LiveScience.

After reading all this I decided: “Okay! Not my problem!”

Am I sounding over-obsessed with my penis?

One would think I walk around all day with it in my hand, stroking it casually!

Would 3 extra inches make up for the lack of girth? Not saying I haven't got girth but, I'm just looking out for the little (definitely no pun intended) guy!

Thank you for dropping by; hope you'll return!

To be honest, statistics was one of my strong suits in college (even though I used to scoff at it at first. I changed as I got better) and I've seen that it can be a fair representation of the wider population.

At the same time, as you say, 41 individual, unique, differently experienced women isn't the end-all on what feels better to who. There are still variables that are absent.

Thank you (about the pic). I'm one of those men who still need reassurances (despite my apparent confidence).
