Avengers Vs. Justice League
This was really a no-brainer!

It's hard to believe they didn't come up with the idea before now. One would think with the popularity of the cartoon for all those years, and the success of the different franchises, that someone would have been bold enough to go ahead and see how it would have worked out.

But thanks to that short-sightedness, Marvel Comics was able to beat them to the punch and create the current third highest grossing movie in history, The Avengers.

Superman was re-incarnated successfully several times, and Batman was even greater the second time around. Granted Green Lantern was a horrible mess, but it could have worked, and Wonder Woman, for some weird reason, just can't make it in the door. I still believe they both could have hitched a ride on Superman and Batman's cape, and someone has finally seen the light.

Warner Brothers seems to have finally gotten around to making the first Justice League movie. Will it be able to garner the type of success that The Avengers got?

They actually seemed content to make TV movies with their characters, for example, Smallville, Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman, etc; now they have Green Arrow coming up.

Wonder what a Justice League going up against Deathstroke (or even against Batman A La "Tower of Babel) would look like in the right directors hand?

I didn't find Green Lantern that exciting. I think they could have done a better job with it.
