It's been a while....

So much has changed since I last visited. The blog page looks completely different....

A lot has changed in my life as well.

For starters, I moved. No longer am I stuck with the roommate from hell. Once again it's me and my doing our own thing in our own apartment.

One truly cannot appreciate the good things in life unless they've experienced the absolute worst.

I'm here to say, I think I did experience the absolute worst. Somehow I managed to survive the lowest point in my entire life and come out on the other side a better person.

A thankful person.

Thankful for my , and the relationship I have with them. Thankful for the friends who remained by my side, and were there for me at my lowest. (It was a pretty short list.)

Because honestly, if it hadn't been for them, I would not be here today.

 It has been a while, but I understand perfectly.

So glad you got away from the "roommate from hell". That was a serious drain.

She was a serious drain... Financially and mentally. I've seen her a couple of times since I moved, and I still get that same sinking feeling just at the sight of her.

I'm SO glad to be out of there too. I think that place was cursed. On the day I moved, it went from sunny and beautiful to freak white-out snow storm in a matter of 5 minutes. The white out started about 5 minutes from the old place and last the entire time I loaded my belongings onto the truck and all the way back to the new apartment. As soon as my stuff was safely here, it quit snowing and returned to being sunny and beautiful. I've never seen anything like it in my life.

 It is is good to have you back on and posting. We were sincerely worried for your well being when you dropped off the face of the earth. Even though we are much further away physically now we still think about you pretty regularly. Keep you chin up and keep fighting girl, it only gets better from here.

Thank you for your concern. I never meant to just disappear, I was just really at a low point. I couldn't even bring myself to write about all the stuff that was going on in my life because it meant I had to rehash it all. My mother dying was only the tip of the iceberg, unfortunately.
