Been a little while

It seems like an eternity after I have been away for a while. Not a lot here has changed, but in my head. . .. Well it is safe to say the world is different.
To start, strange dreams have been in the works. not just one or two, but a stream of them. From visits of very old to long dead friends, and a number of others in between, to horrid nightmares. Those shall be saved, as they are very detailed and specific, and not at all kind to share.
Work of the season has picked up. Work for others and at home. If I said I was working four jobs at this point, I might be selling myself short. The end is not in sight, but there is always hope of change. Some one could fire me, Or I could get killed along the way Not exactly ideal, but reality none the less. Either way I look forward to a change of season, and the hopes it will slow some.
Last, the sights and sounds of things new to me.
Every year, I look forward to new people. A change of people to see, hopefully new friends, and of course the hope of new chances. Reality is not kind, but my hopes always are.
So with a glass half full, a smile on my lips, and a dirty though in my head, here is to the death of spring, and the hopes summer is better.

I would not mind a cool summer with plenty of rain this year. but if that is not in the cards, I will take what I can get
