Why?

I have honestly been wondering a bit why? Why do people have this over inflated sense of self on this site? Don't get me wrong, I think people should have healthy egos. But I do wonder how it gets to far to the extreme, I get we all have preferences and desires, but at what point do you decide your just to damn good to fuck. But may be it's me, and I am changing. Well hell I know I am I am now able to admit I am in an open poly relationship.
