A return from purgatory

It's been a while, but I had a lot of shit to sort through....

Hubby and I had been toying with swinging for some time, we had been to a few local clubs and had a good time. We went out to London, and visited a serious swingers club. For the first time he saw me suck and fuck another man. To me, everything was good....

About a week later, I get a frantic call from the nanny that Hubby is passed out in his office, and she is calling 911. Turns out he mixed Vicodin and Scotch. Short story, everything was ok after a night in the ER. Long story was that he never got over the night in the swingers club. He was angry, embarrassed and depressed.

We talked for weeks, and he came to the realization that he has no desire to join me on the path that gives me sexual enjoyment. I was crushed, and angry about this all falling on me.

Last week, he revealed to me that he had been having an affair with another parent from our 's football team. Now he has no idea of my summer activities, but he wanted me to know that it's not love, it's simply two people who can give each other what they need for a couple of hours. Oddly, it made sense to me.

We love each other, and have no real desire to break up, but came to a tacit understanding about seeing other people.

Sorry for the rant, it's been building up
