Invite people out....

So ive finally had a few days off and was taking my boat to the lake for some fun and relaxation in the sun with some of my good trusted friends. With that being said 3 different ladies who have been hounding me that they wanted to go the next time I went out were called and plans were made for the next morning.....and as always no call,no show and no answering phone calls and/or text messages....Is it really the water in Vegas or are people just self centered and don't care?
