Hi Everyone,

I recently changed my profile to reflect the fact that I am currently not looking for anything here on A*F*F. I have been logging in to make bling and to participate in the Bling Nation family of groups. In addition, I restricted my email settings so that I am not receiving the exorbitant amount of emails I typically receive on a daily basis.

Unfortunately, we are unable to disable "Network Invites" so individuals are still contacting me via this method. What surprises me is that in the note they include with the invite, people are telling me that they "love my profile" and/or that "we are looking for exactly the same things". Does that mean that they are also here just to make bling and participate in Bling Nation (funny how none of these individuals seem to be members of that group hehehehehe)????? Or does it mean that they see nothing more than the photos and feel that based on those images we are the "perfect match"?

It is quite obvious that they are not reading the profile, otherwise they wouldn't make the statements that they are making. I guess it is just further proof to what I have said all along...taking the time to actually write a profile is a waste of time because people truly do not bother to read it!!

 Yep...as much as I try to be very desriptive on who I am and what I want...I still find the guys that think because they are who they are, Ill totally change my mind (and at times my body type) so they are included! You dont do this??? Come on....we all know you put all that work into your profile as only a suggestion!!!

You mean you're not looking for a sex hookup? Then I suppose I shouldn't have sent you those emails asking you to join me in a tub of jello?

 i too, enjoy your bling and a few others on here who also have the talent to make them...i cant LOL i have had a few pieces made for me from some network friends the rest i have to "take" so thanks for the bling. as for the sneaky emails thru network invites, that is so wrong LOL i have had men who were to cheap to pay for a membership send me emails thru bulletins that network people can do, those get dropped immediately off my network...keep up the good blinging
