He was truthful

Good morning, I hope this finds you with that secret smile on your face.

I had a meet and greet a couple nights ago. I totally enjoyed everything about the meet and greet, except for one thing.

We have the same interest, we like to do the same things, we talked for hours, he was good looking, but, there is a but.

I did not feel that spark. I don't know if he did either, but we decided to meet again.

Before that second meeting took place, we talked on the phone to plan it. A couple hours later I got a text message from him.

It ended with I don't think it will work out.

I sent him two messages back, the first one thanking him for being honest. And the second one telling him how totally awesome I thought he was.

I was okay with him not wanting to see me again. I did not get upset, there was no reason to. I was glad he took the time to let me know what was up.

There are many men who would not.

I was looking forward to doing things like fishing, grilling, dancing, and all the other fun things we both like to do.

For those reasons I was willing to continue seeing the guy even though I didn't feel that spark. I know I should have bowed out, but I figured what the hell who knows. Maybe something will develop.

Have you done this, decided to see somebody again even when there was no spark.

If you did, did it develop into something more, or eventually go by the wayside.

 I usually like to do second meet. They tend to be more relax. The spark may come later if they are a good person.

 Good afternoon. Yes I have, because even if there was no spark, there was still something that both of us had a mutual desire for. Sometimes these situations work out just fine.
