The bar at the end of the road

Good evening, I hope this finds you with that secret smile on your face. so far this week not on my face but that would be my choice.

The great thing about it, is that the bar is within walking distance of the hotel if I need it to be.

When you go to the bar, and you start speaking with somebody, you go are you a local or are you a traveler.

There are a lot of travelers, but there are a lot of locals as well.

I like the place. It's a great place to meet people. It's a great place to relax after work, the help is wonderful, the food is good, and the patrons are awesome.

I like it, it is a great place for meet and greets as well.

I go to the bar to do my paperwork. I have a couple beers n leave. It gives me some time for adult conversation as well. It sure is better then the hotel room.

Unless it's for playtime.

It's basically my safe bar, I won't pick anybody up at the bar but I will enjoy my time there. I may meet somebody at the bar or I may bring somebody to the bar. The only one that gets to go home with me is someone I bring to the bar with me.

I'm sure everyone of us has our favorite watering hole. And memories from that watering hole.

 Boy, I haven't had a watering hole in years! You made me think back a few years. I drink at home- I like spending as much time as I can with my wife, cozy in front of the wood stove!

But back in the old days, I had favorite taverns, and I always had an eye out for a likely companion for later in the evening. Like you, I usually went home with the same person I went there with - me. I went there often enough that I managed to rack up a scorecard, but like in gambling, I spent a lot more than I won.

I too would prefer to spend alone time with a partner. When that is not happening, I go to the bar at the end of the street, or the hotel. Those four walls get lonely every night when working on the road.......thegrls

 Good morning. Oh, I don't have any real hang outs. I usually drink a few beers at home while working on something around the house or reading or whatever.
If I'm travelling I always bring my guitar and cooler with me when I'm hanging around in the room at night. I figure it's a good way to keep me out of mischief.
