sometimes i like the notes i get in response to posts here:

'have you had sex high? do you want to?'

well, so i suppose i should clear this up.
yes i've had sex tipsy, i.e. slightly 'off' from alittle liquor.
i'm strictly a light weight as far as alcohol consumption goes, so it hasn't taken much the very few times i've felt so inclined.
if the point was to relax or let inhibitions go a bit,
then, yeah, it did that and it was fine and cool and ok.

i've had Completely Drunk sex.
i think ?i may misunderstand the point of doing that?
it didn't do much for me and i don't think it did much to enhance or better the sexual experience for me.

i've had sex alittle 'tipsy' from pot.
just once and it was pretty similar to me to tipsy-from-alcohol sex. alittle more relaxed, if you will.

i've Never had sex high and most drugs i'd Never mess with.
not just to do 'em
not just to try 'em
not with sex
not without sex

But ..

there are 1 or 2 i Would try /Just and Only/ *with* Sex.

like i'd love to try MDMA (google it) for purposes of sex only.
i've never done it but i've heard and read it's an experience like no other.
this to me, though, is something like BDSM sex.
you gotta Trust this person like No Other and it's gotta be Safe.

so until i meet that guy, i guess this one stays on my to-Do list.

oh and bc i know i'll likely get asked:
yup i've tried BDSM a time or 2.
tying someone up (or getting tied up) is all fine and well and good.
it is.
you know what i think takes even More Talent, though?
getting someone (or someone getting you) to do [Whatever]

 Well there's an old British aphorism about a late TV show from the 60's when they somewhat daringly allowed to discuss "what makes a women good in bed". After much, politically correct shimmying around the topic, one of the discussants simply muttered, "Well I've often found offering them a larger gin and tonic beforehand works wonders..."

And I tend to agree!

Problem with MDMA is it tends to involve hours of raving before hand and then you're too exhausted and fall asleep - whence the other great UK aphorism "poke and a slump'.

 Well, I've never really fancied the bdsm scene, either coz I don't really like someone else having control over me, or maybe I just haven't met the right "teacher" yet....

Different strokes for different folks, right?

I'm sure the adherents find bdsm to be as romantic as I find my "vanilla" sexual life, and that's alright by me...
