 I do that too sometimes , I hate to say it but I think its nothing to do with gender and a lot to do with self-absorption . But then again who really stops and thinks very far about what someone else is doing with their life beyond the points where it intersects with their life ?
Putting clients first by putting employees first, immediately after prioritizing fiscal responsibilities and leveraging profitability towards exceeding by empowering our employees to put clients (and themselves) first, in a diverse and respectful environment of only those that come first, first.

Sadly, that's very likely. I want (regardless of sex, interest level, what have you) to be important to everyone I have more than passing contact with, I guess. I think it's that whole "I'm special" thing that most people think about themselves. Sheesh, guess I need to work on that.
