Thought of the Day
Thought of the Day Where would I go?.................. Hmm, my mind has always thought of vacations as about a week long. So, the first thought I had was a cruise around the world. However, that is really in keeping with the one week vacation plan, except linking them all together. Where would I want to go and spend six months really getting to know the culture? Where would you want to go for six months? "Don't count the days, make the days count" |

I'd like to go anywhere for the "Toes in the water, Ass in the sand" treatment to start things off. Of your list Costa Rica would hit it off just fine, been there a couple of times on business and loved it.

I have rarely been outside Scotland and I am not a good traveller; however, when I see the vastness of the US with all the diversity of culture, origin and climate - not to mention scenery and world famous landmarks and historical heritage, I would love to see as much of it as I could squeeze into six months. Now I'm off to buy my lottery ticket...

Places tropical like Hawaii, Fiji, and have several cultures in one place. Beaches, diving, When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Hey I like this! Yes please! You don't have to go anywhere - just not to work! The thing that is most astounding & puzzling to me is that all of those who have more money than they can do anything sensible with still have this weird & warped need, desire & passion to go to work! Weird! Really Weird!

There is something ironic about my list. It does not include Hawaii, a tropical paradise that I have spent a month in. And, it is the most likely spot for me to vacation in soon. "Don't count the days, make the days count"
