Heather Mills, the former wife of Paul McCartney, is in the headlines this morning. She says that her split from McCartney was harder than losing her leg. AHEM, what was the total she walked away with? Yeah, I know, money doesn't buy happiness....

She was essentially unknown when they married, were married for a few years, became a household name due to his fame, and then she ditches him and sues for divorce and one of the largest settlements to date. She is quoted as saying she became the most hated woman in Britain. I'll give her that, in fact, I'd say she was hated pretty much across the pond, as well.

What I am really railing about is how woman, like her, give other woman a bad name.



How did the man stay dignified throughout the entire battle?

 Sir Paul had to go through selling all his rights to Michael f'in Jackson in the 70's, lost his Apple studio, Lost 3 wives and 2 bad settlements, and is still one of the best and truly most loving human beings on the planet, making terrific music to this day at over 70. This is just one guy's opinion, but I saw him play in 1965 with the others and it is still one of the greatest moments in my life. Linda was his greatest love, but the others were leeches on a legend. The creme comes to the top as all artists know, and Sir Paul will rise again through this silliness and financial distraught.

The money is only a small part of their divorce. What got me is that she said such hateful and mean things about a man that had a proven history of being loving and devoted to a wife, and their children.

 Her lawyers must have convinced the Beak that she wrote some of the songs! Does anyone ever keep a record of the banter & drivel that goes on in the court case?
