Curious and Curiouser
Curious and Curiouser Yesterday I sat on a park bench in the tiny Fisherman's Park in Wappingers Falls. From my perch at the top of the trail head, I was able to see all the comings and goings. It seemed a quiet little spot when we first sat down, but proved itself to be extremely busy. I had to wonder why. Obviously, the young father with his and fishing gear in tow headed down the trail to find a site to fish. The elderly gentleman wearing a pair of sneakers was out for a morning constitutional. And the man that walked across the street carrying the morning Journal was looking to read it while taking in fresh air. It proved to be a popular U-turn site for a myriad of cars that zipped quickly in and out of the six space parking lot. Most curious to me were the vehicles that swung in, parked for a while and whose passengers never exited the cars. As were the multitude of men that parked there cars and meandered down the trail, only to return a few minutes later. They carried no fishing supplies, they weren't appropriately dressed for hiking, or even a short walk. They had me curious. I told my friend that years ago my first thought would have been drug deals. Today, thanks to my affiliation with this site, I thought guys meeting up for blow jobs or hand jobs. PS Don't correct my grammar, I know curiouser is not a real word. Wouldn't you like to be rolling on the floor laughing your ass off with me right now? I feel silly and light hearted, and quite content. "Don't count the days, make the days count"
