Rainy Days & Mondays

As the Carpenters sang in the early 70s "rainy days and Mondays always get me down."

I'm not getting enough stimulation; nobody is responding to my blog, the number of emails is down here , as well as, on my mainstream email. There is even a major decline in my work related emails. I haven't received a phone call or a text message this entire morning.

Mostly, I'm feeling decreased attention from a certain someone.

 Poor thang. Cheer up things could be worse. We are free to email and post blogs without fear of being punished or executed. Therefore every day is a great day. I have a roof over my head, food on the table and am warm/cool and dry. What more could you ask for besides sex. SEX WHERE ARE YOU? It's a wonderful day. Kisses

Thank you for your response. I agree, there is much more for me to be grateful for than gloomy about. Sometimes I can be such an Eeyore, when I'd much rather be a Pooh.

I just got home from lunch out with my teenage son. During the entire trip he kept drawing my attentions to cars that he liked on the road. I have to laugh because the first thing I noticed when I saw your profile picture was your car and thought "my favorite shade of green with an English tan interior""sweet".

 Maybe the individual you alluded to eluded his association within your message.

There are many people who have a difficult time with hints and subtlety (like myself) and it is possible he is also one of those.

Or perhaps I am the one missing hints and subtlety. This gal has long questioned nuance for fear of misinterpeting significance. Whatever the case may be, thank you for pointing out the differences in allude and ellude. The original error had elluded me when I read the comment.

 Find a new source of stimulation...rainy days dont have to be bad, if they turn into a thunderstorm, the lightening can be enthralling
